Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic.
The biggest knock is not their fault. The location is a good 15 minute walk from the nearest beach access point over unpaved roads in a sketchy, run-down area. Still, overall I don't regret it and would do it again. Beachfront properties are much more expensive but feel like fortresses isolating you from the townspeople and local culture.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit einfachen, sauberen Bungalows. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, auch im Restaurant. Mühsam ist leider der Weg zum Strand.
