Absolute Sanctuary

It is a pleasure to stay at Absolute Sanctuary! Everything are at top quality, service, environment, facility, wellness program….. except one thing - the weather but it is out of the control of anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Absolute Santuary.. the rooms were so clean and the property was nice. I especially enjoyed the Pilates with Kevin. The spa was nice too .. the only thing I feel is that they should include all the classes in their rate instead of paying for everything seperately.

I didn’t realised I was booking into a detox resort. I booked a room for 3 days and loved the environment and the calmness of it all. Very pleasant stay will defo go back.

Value for money is very good here when compared to some of the other resorts which I have stayed at and looked at. The menu has good range and is healthy, the rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff are pleasant. This is somewhere you can get well and healthy.

Best retreat hotel in the whole country - look no further! Lovely staff, facilities and services felt so comfortable during my stay and could relax and disconnect. Thank you to the whole team!

Excellent sanctuary with fantastic gym, fitness, yoga, pilates, massage and emotional wellness facilities. Very good value for money as far as wellness centres go. The meals are excellent and served by wonderful staff

A wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.

If you’re after complete and total healthiness then this place is for you. Everybody there is so focused on their personal journey to being detoxed or whatever they’re going through it can be a bit boring for people who are just there for a holiday.

I was looking for an escape to enjoy a quiet time but able to exercise, do some yoga and eat well, so Absolute Sanctuary was a perfect place. I booked to stay in a seaview room and got what I wanted. The room was spacious and clean but a little dated for the price so a bit of update or refurbishment will be great. Staff members are all very courteous and helpful. Classes are run by professional instructors. Food was delicious and breakfast is more than generous. WiFi in the room is very poor but if you look to stay disconnected, then you'll get by. Last but not least, the hotel should mention on the website that there are lots of steps so definitely not suitable for people with knee problem.

The hotel is nice with cozy rooms, I loved the yoga classes and food from the restaurant, it's really good. Shuttle service for going to mall/town is great. However the reasons I didn't give it a 5 star includes: confusing communications sometimes from the staff when booking for massage/spa therapy services, a few times they told me the practitioner haven't confirm and change my booking last minute which can be quite annoying, this is after they told me everything has been booked. The different kinds of oil massages are all the same and I didn't quite enjoy them, I thought the best massage is the Thai massage. Staff are usually friendly but did run into a few that's not very polite. I loved the room, however bathroom always had draining problems for shower and toilet. The gym is very basic with old machines. Also, the electricity would sudden stop during the day, they said it's because it's a tropical area therefore it's not stable. But I've stayed at other hotels in Koh Samui and never had that problem. For the price, it's OK, I did enjoy myself, but likely I will try other similar type of wellness resort next time.

It was fine but the staffs were strangely less friendly! I incurred 2 prob. one was finding their location. the location shown in goodle map was 9 min away from the correct location! it took us extra one hour to find the location. then upon arriving they said they dont allow kids below 12. you can just imagine my surprise level with my 7 year old. Doesn't Hotel.com know this? later they allowed upon signing a bond.

Een ideale plek als je kwalitatieve yoga en pilates lessen wilt hebben. Vooral het uitgebreide aanbod van diverse yoga lessen en leraren is heel fijn voor zowel de gevorderde als beginnende yogi/yogini. De pilates studio heeft plek voor 6 pilates reformer machines en zeer kundige leraren. Daarnaast is er ook core suspend training, geweldig voor iedereen die houdt van een mix tussen fitness-yoga-acrobatiek-dans-pilates, ik ben er verzot op geworden. Het zwembad is prettig, schoon en bevat minimaal chloor. De staff is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, als je vriendelijk bent, doen ze alles voor je met alle liefde. Het hotel zelf en de staat van het resort is niet meer de volledige 4 sterren waard. Hou je van echt luxe omgeving is dit niet je plek. De kamers zijn voldoende, maar wel erg luide airco en ventilatoren, alhoewel je daar snel aan went. De keuken/restaurant is niet zoveel in gebruik aangezien de meeste mensen er komen voor detox en dus op sapjes leven gedurende hun verblijf. Het eten is best duur als je het vergelijkt met Thaise begrippen, maar wel heel puur en gezond. Wel weinig echt variatie en je moet duidelijk aangeven hoe je iets wilt hebben. Voor de kwaliteit die ik van de Love Kitchen gewend was, viel het tegen, maar met behulp van het super leuke personeel kwamen we er wel uit, maar het komt niet overheen met de website. Zelfde met de fitness lessen en zaal, die is echt niet 4 sterren, amper 1 ster.....geen aanrader als je daarvoor komt. Wellicht in toekomst beter!

Wifi didn't really work in my room. Overall was great value for the price - the delicious and healthy meals at the restaurant and yoga onsite are alone worth staying here again.

隣の部屋のいびきが聞こえた。周りの部屋の音が反響するのか、テレビ、人の声で眠れなかった。 ホテル代は、朝食付き、昼と夜は付いていない。昼と夜は、レストランで注文して食べる。毎食1000円以上支払う必要がある。

体調を回復させるために滞在すべき、おすすめのホテルです。デトックスプログラムもありますが、野菜中心のヘルシーなお料理ばかりです。ヨガやピラティス、プールで泳ぐこともできます。マッサージも種類が豊富ですので、体の状態に合わせていろいろと試してみてください。隣のお部屋からの音がもれてきますが、お互いさまなので、慣れれば問題ないと思います。ザ・ラブ・キッチンのジンジャーティは無料ですので、レモンを入れて是非お飲みください。体があたたまり、消化にもとってもいいです。

Wir haben nun zum 2. mal eine Woche hier Urlaub gemacht, da der yogaunterricht super ist, 4 Kurse pro Tag für jeden etwas. Tolle und professionelle Yoga Lehrer! Das Essen ist sehr gesund und überaus lecker. Täglich fährt mehrmals ein Shuttle zum Chaweng Beach. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und die frischen Säfte schmecken super.

Gesundes Essen und tolle Yogalehrerin. Ca. 25 Yogakursen pro Woche. Freundlich Mitarbeiter und Super Essen. Für Erholung, detox und Yoga empfehlenswert.

Wunderschönes Resort für Ruhesuchende und Detoxinteressierte. Sehr gute Yogainstruktoren. Für andere Urlauber eher nicht so geeignet, da etwas weiter weg von Strand und Promenade und Essen und Getränkeangebot sehr auf Gesundheit und Detox ausgerichtet - keinen Alkohol, keine Softdrinks etc. Nichtraucherresort.
