THB 260 /night 1-30 May 2019 The Baan Bayan, an Exclusive Beach Hotel would like to notify you that the swimming pool and pool bar will closed for the month of May for renovation and maintenance work. Hence, they will not be accessible for use. To compensate for this inconvenience caused, the hotel will be hosting complimentary beachfront dinner weekly (Wednesday) for all in-house guests.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. It is older building, but that gave it some character. Rooms were spacious, access to the beach area easy, very friendly staff. Since this is a smaller facility, it was not crowded, staff got to know you which made the stay more pleasurable. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Described as vintage property, retro. It's not, it's just dated. particularly the bathroom. You need to be an acrobat to get into, or out of the bath/shower and when you do the water is either scalding hot or lukewarm and barely trickles out anyway. The A/C sounds like a jet engine in the room, mine broke twice and was no better after the fix.
The property is sandwiched between a Marriot and an Intercontinental, both new properties, all charging roughly the same. Which would you prefer a room with modern plumbing, and facilities or one with a lavatory you can't throw paper into?

A lovely quaint colonial style hotel which we found to be exactly as described. In the best position on the beach and with only 21 rooms there were sunbeds for all without any stress. Service was excellent from all the staff, breakfast was limited but more than sufficient and the rooms clean and comfortable if not a little dated. We spent a long time researching the area and hotels on offer and came away well pleased with our choice. We will definitely stay again
