The rooms were nestled into beautiful foliage for privacy. The gardens as a whole were lovely and well tended. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant led directly onto the beach as did the infinity pool/pool bar. The beach was cleaned twice a day to remove leaves etc. - a lovely walk, peaceful, not too many people. The only downside for us was a lack of shade areas as we prefer not to sit out in direct sun. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our four week stay.

We found it very relaxing here. Food was great, staff were very nice. Pool was beautiful and relaxing.

The hotel has a lovely beach stuff very friendly and helpful the rooms are OK not to special ,showers can be way better the shower heads reminded me of a shower in a hostel not of a 4 star hotel.

The property location is perfect on the beach which is very clean. The sea is almost mirror flat and loverly to swim in. The hotel has a great vibe with adults only, no children ruining the pool environment. The staff are amazing and very helpful paying attention to your needs before you ask. The room was clean and easy to stay in with an amazing shower. (Very powerful). The food in the restaurant is very good and the staff were great at supporting us with gluten and dairy free food. Our view, best located hotel on the beach and the best place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights prior to New Years Eve. Loved the beach front, great sun loungers, beanbags and cocktails for sunset. Rooms all terraced, terraces could be dark due to set back in gardens but rooms bright, clean, modern with huge bathrooms and great bed! Service charge (10%) and 7% tax added to all food/drink purchases which can add up! No advance notice of pool party days (luckily for us happened on last day but would be good to know when booking if that’s what you want to avoid or attend!). Great breakfast. 10 min walk to Haad Rin beach. Would recommend if you want adults only but pick timings carefully if you’re looking to avoid party atmosphere. Good beach vibe.

The Explorar Koh Phangan was an amazing property. The staff was awesome. Breakfast buffet was great. The pool, the room, fitness center all great. Not to mention an amazing sunset every night. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The Koh phangan property isn’t as nice as the one on Koh Samui. The stay would have been much better if the hotel did not open the pool area to the public at a cut price rate - this just crowded the pool at certain times of the day. The clientele weren’t always pleasant, The pool water had a weird chemical taste - sour is the closest way to describe it. Having said that the restaurant food was very good; the massages were excellent and there was a spacious and quiet co-working space to get some work done.

We stayed in the Ocean View suite. Awesome view. Great bed. Staff was great! Particular shot out to our bartender Joe and his team. Would absolutely stay again.

Great location. Overall everything was perfect, the staff was amazing. The only thing I wanted more was for them to step up the food a little more. It was’t bad or anything but plenty of opportunities to improve.

Great location. It’s very clean, the amenities are great and the staff was amazing. The drinks was pretty good. The only thing I wish was better was the food. It wasn’t bad but it was good either. Definitely highly recommend this place for everyone

Everything was perfect for our wedding anniversary trip. Breakfast buffet to start the day, then straight into the pool to wake up some more, walking around haad rinn is easy, plenty of shopping and things to do. Friendly staff that took care of anything and everything. Will stay here again. Wish I knew they had another location in Samui too. Will stay here again and again.

We were staying somewhere else much less nice and moved to this hotel. Made our stay in Koh Phangan amazing!

Explorar Koh Phangan is really good value. The service is amazing and the food is top notch. The rooms are clean and well designed and built. Maybe more expensive than other places nearby but it is worth it.

The resort is very nice, clean on a nice beach. The service and the food is excellent. The rooms are very big, nice and very modern, BUT they lack completely the functionality. In a superior room, on a very large space it is a king bed, only a night table and a shelf under the TV. The closet is very small, no drawers, no place to put your luggage and more, no desk and chair in this large room! waist of space!

Wonderful place to stay in Koh Phangan beach front with a infinity pool and great breakfast. The staff are wonderful always smiling and Thank you Fabia for helping me checking in and making me feel welcome. Everything is so close by to walk around and explore Haad Rin and full moon party but far enough to not really hear the noise from the full moon party.
