We just came back from Hyatt Regency Samui after a 6 nights trip. Honestly, it was a disappointment. We are a family of 4, with 2 under 5s, and we visit at least to one tropical destinations in asia per year. Hyatt Regency Samui does not worth the room rate, with the same amount of money, I can get much better hospitality in Bali or Malaysia. Communication: It feels saff do not fully understand our instructions, the replies on customer service is slow and usually does not solve our problems. In 2026, a lot of these tropical destinations we visited are supported with great communication tools such as in house APP or Whatsapp for instant replies. This hotel does not meet the usual standard. It feels requests are lost in translations. Service: We expected a 5 star service witht the money we paid, we were disappointment the first hour we checked in. It is more like family oriented resort minus the 5 star service. Especially during breakfast buffet, it was rather chaotic and waiting time is long. Food: Our room included breakfasts, but the quality kf food was yet another disappointment. Eggs are hard and tasteless, buffet lacked of variety, fruits are of limited choice too. At 9:30, they ran out of uoung coconuts one day. Thai green curry was with grilled chicken :( Room service portion was small Kids Club: We booked resorts with kids club so our kids can meet new friends and us parents can relax. Staff are so "relaxed" it felt they weren't communicated with the children.

One of the best family friendly hotel in Koh Samui, this os our second visit, the manager of the restaurant is really good!

Hyatt Regency was incredible from the minute we got there. We got delicious coconut ice cream and got directed to our oceanfront villa, which was simply stunning, with a beautiful pool and stunning views. It was everything that we wanted and more. For dinner, they catered to our needs perfectly, with the lady at the Regency club, Mong being incredible with bringing us our food and making us feel at home every dinner. The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had, with a well picked buffet with some à la carte options, including fresh coconut water in coconuts, artisan pesto breads and omelettes cooked to perfection. Not only that, but the service overall was outstanding, with the staff being very polite and our special helper Marbell being excellent in all aspects to cater to our needs. The food, not just the breakfast, was top tier, as well as the deals on the drinks with happy hour. Lastly, the pools were clean and pretty, with even a small slide for the kids. There was roasting marshmallows on the beach some nights, as well as performances on the beach grill Sesun like fire shows, which were mindblowing, and extremely convenient as they were inside the hotel. All in all, Hyatt Regency was exceptional, and we hope to come again. Would definitely be recommending to family and friends!!

Too expensive , 600 dollars per night ,can not even offer complimentary mini bar at the room ( thats extra if you consume any food or drinks ) ..Not even provided airport shuttle, thats extra cost , can easily offer this at that price . Overall ocer rated hotel this is

Hotel was exceptional, as beautiful as the pictures. All you need for a wonderful stay in Koh Samui

Stay was great, people were great. However, I thought the beach was a beach you can actually go into without many rocks…it was not. If you looking for a modern hotel away from everything, with great staff, and a REALLY good breakfast, this place has it….however, its not a beach resort….

Dear Hotel Management, I am currently staying at Hyatt Regency Samui and wanted to share some concerns regarding the level of service we have experienced during our stay. We arrived on Tuesday at lunchtime, and I would like to acknowledge that the receptionist was very accommodating in allocating us good rooms, which we appreciated. However, we have experienced repeated issues with service responsiveness throughout our stay: Upon arriving in our room, I wanted to have a cup of tea but found there was no milk provided. I called reception to request milk for the room. Despite calling 3–4 times, the milk did not arrive for approximately an hour. The following morning at breakfast, we ordered English tea. Unfortunately, the tea did not arrive until around 30–45 minutes later, by which time we had already finished our breakfast. That evening, I became unwell. The next morning, I asked my husband to obtain some toast and tea for me. A member of staff kindly offered to have the toast delivered to my room. Unfortunately, it did not arrive for approximately 30–60 minutes. While individual delays can happen, the repeated failure to deliver basic requests in a timely manner has been very disappointing and has negatively affected our stay. In particular, the delays from both room service and the kitchen have been frustrating, especially when I was feeling unwell. I wanted to bring these issues to your attention so that they can be addressed. We chose Hyatt Regency expecting a high standa

Service is very accommodating and professional. Our AC broke but they moved us immediately when they tried to fix it. Breakfast buffet sumptuos with great variety and quality.

Daily Kid’s activity and kids’ pool play area as well as kids’ play room were great! Also, the short distance from the airport was helpful for family with kids.

Amazing hotel!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was good, amenities good, even their welcome drink is incredible. Definitely recommend this hotel. Very close to the airport.

We stayed with a large family and used the family room. It was large and spacious. We were right next to the pool and breakfast area. The staff was helpful and friendly. Loved our stay!

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war tipptopp sauber und das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Unser Zimmer war modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Einen kleinen Minuspunkt gab es allerdings: Es fehlte etwas an Stauraum für unsere Kleidung. Das war natürlich schade, aber mit ein wenig Improvisation ließ sich auch das gut lösen. Ansonsten war alles hervorragend. Das gesamte Personal war stets freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben dort zwei wundervolle Wochen mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good resort with good amenities, well maintained and very helpful staff. Kid's club was very good with hourly activities. We rate 4 out of 5 stars since the food was okay-ish but not great (compared to other restaurants on the island which are much better). Overall we would recommend and also would be happy to come back.
