The location of the La Vela Hotel is superb, the beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous. The pools are magnificient and the entire hotel, pool and beach area never felt crowded. The entire atmosphere is very relaxed and low key.

We loved steering here in grand pool Access room. Quiet and not too many kids on our anniversary stay. Beds were so comfy and staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient location. Loved the fire show. Pools were lovely and lovely right on the beach.

The hotel is on a lovely, relatively quiet beach on the outskirts of the local town. A quick 5 mins walk or 2 mins in the hotel buggy. We had a sea view deluxe room which was great. Beautiful views, quiet, large, practical space and well serviced throughout the week. As mentioned by others the breakfast is excellent, especially loved the coffee which is freshly made on request. Not keen on the loud dance music played often over lunch or in the evening as takes away from the relaxing beach vibe. Liked happy hour on the beach.

everything was very nice, only the service in the restaurant by the sea was, to put it mildly, poor. otherwise everything was fine

La Vela is an incredible experience start to finish. The breakfast in beyond words. The coffee is amazing. The design and aesthetics throughout the property are stunning. The staff are helpful. Book it! You will not regret it!

Bright with a brand new feeling

Place is good but one room AC not worked properly. We booked 2 room and hotel.com booked just one room. We end up paying more to get 2nd room.

Great location, amazing pools, big rooms with large bathrooms and some rooms gave a bath on balcony. Easy walk to many restaurants, shops and massage places. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly! The food was excellent. The property is beautiful. It was just right for our vacation.

This resort was wonderful. The rooms were very new and nicely appointed. Food was wonderful and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. There were cheaper dining options a short walk away… all the food both at the resort and nearby restaurants was amazing. There are pools everywhere and lots of options… The beach had red flags every day so no swimming where the resort is. But there our sun and shade options for sitting in beach chairs and enjoying the surf.

It was very good but unfortunately I had broken my leg in Phuket a week prior to my stay, so I could not really enjoy myself. The staff were wonderful and the restaurants fantastic.

Everything was just perfect: convenient location close to town, great amenities and direct access to the beach. Special mention to the staff, they were amazing! Breakfast was just amazing! (probably one of the best I had in hotels in terms of variety and taste!)
