Nice getaway

Off season is always the best time

Hotel is close to all amenities .Beach restaurants and bars all within 5 minutes walk.The hotel itself is wonderful .Room was excellent with a sea view.Breakfast is buffet type but sufficient choice.Only has 1 english channel Al Jazeera .Staff are very helpful .Swimming pool is large with deep and shallow end.I would have no hesitatiin staying again.

This is a great place to stay, great breakfast, and great pool. If the maintenance was done regularly on the building, it would be an absolutely beautiful building and grounds, and I would have given it the very top scores. But we really enjoyed staying there, and it was awesome to be able to walk across the street to the beach and all the beach restaurants.

Mae Pim is a lovely resort town, although it is rather run down and covered by low class structures on the street side. What a great beach! The hotel is tired and need of upgrade and repair, especially for the price we paid. It was nothing special and I base this opinion on living and holidaying in Thailand for 15 years. The best part of this hotel is the swimming pool area, which is sad to say with such a beautiful beach across the road. The hotel have also installed a rent paying cafe below the rooms which make so much noise from 20;00 unit after midnight that it's impossible to sleep. Phone calls to reception had no effect, so I could only conclude that the cafe tenant was more important than the hotel guests. I'll go back to Mae Pim, but not the hotel.

Nice big room and balcony. The beach is just over the road and they do some great sea food on the beach. There is limited entertainment venues there but we came again for this reason we had a couple of nights at the Viking bar where the staff were very polite and friendly as they were at other places we went. This was our second visit to Mae Pim and the Mae Pim resort and it won't be our last. On a final note a nice buffet breakfast at the hotel egg and bacon cooked fresh.

Service was bad especially the reception very unprofessional and not friendly at all, breakfast staff was useless ask for a part boil egg for my 4 years old son and was told it cannot be done. The room was ok also the pool was great. Disappointed over all will not recommend this hotel to even people I don’t like.

Had a great deluxe room in the garden block to the rear of the hotel. Room clean, only issue was no room safe. Amazing swimming pool and lovely beach across the road. Staff rather noticeable by their absence but this didn't detract from our very enjoyable stay.

Just a quick 1 night on route to Chantaburi from Bangkok. Great place if you like lots of fresh seafood and a long promenade and beach. Hotel is big in slightly older style, has a really nice pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Recommended.

This hotel was something good is the past. But now need a great renovation. It has a lot of potential if they work on it. The rooms smells mold. Need a hard clean and open the doors when there is no guest. The bathrooms are in indescribable decay, Horrible!

However, it is located next to the beach, just cross the street. No direct access to the beach. Own swimming pool, gym and sauna are the best features. During our stay the restaurants were practically empty, but we had to wake up the personnel to serve us... Breakfast restaurant was really nice with good service. As a summary, a pleasant stay.

Awesome place, big room, very nice patio. Super friendly staff. They do have roosters that should not be on premises for obvious reasons. But then our room was right next to them. Probably did not bother 98% of other guests. My lower neighbor decided to do an impression of the rooster in a east European accent. That was really bad. Put a stop to it right away.

The hotel was excellent .Nice swimming pool,room was excellent .If you are english not much on the t.v.Buffet breakfast was very good .Overall excellent hotel .I will come back again

Hotel staff speaks little English. Other than that everything is fine.

Very nice swimming pool with a large children's area. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Breakfast buffet is ok with Thai & western options. The fried potatoes are real, not frozen. Made-to-order egg station. Coffee a little scorched tasting. Rooms are older and in need of refreshing. Has more of a motel than hotel feel. Decoration is spartan but the room was very clean. We visited in low season and they were redoing quite a lot. Had to change rooms because of a mold issue and they were very kind about this. Also provided a hair dryer when we found none in the room, so 100% responsive to our needs. Bed was large and comfortable. The beach is immediately across the street, and is clean, so had fun there when not at the pool. Good restaurants nearby, especially seafood (of course). Quite a lot to do and see in the area if you have your own transportation. If not, the area near the hotel, for about a km in each direction, has a variety of smaller shops and is generally pretty peaceful. We enjoyed the stay and the location. Will return and can recommend for people who like a great rate without expecting a world of comfort. Good value.
