Samui Seabreeze Place

Great place to stay in Lamai, 5 -10 walk from all the bars and restaurants. Staff are brilliant. Will definitely stay there again..

My room had mosquitos and bugs and smelled like mildew. the front desk person was extremely rude and she was even yelling at me because i was had a rash on my arm because of the bugs in the room. i left immediately after 5 minutes of checking in. they refused to refund me for the room even though i had to go see a doctor and pay out of my pocket. i stayed across the street at te Villa Marina which was a way-way better. Don't waste yuor money on this filthy hotel.

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist & was quickly checked into the main hotel with a pool view from our balcony. Overall the room was clean & comfortable, the hotel itself is in need of a little updating but has an old school charm. The pool was mostly quiet & cleaned everyday. It is a very short walk from Lamai beach & has free sun loungers for guests. The staff were very helpful & we were always greeted with a smile. The breakfast is okay & the WIFI was a little up & down at times but on the whole it was good. This is a pleasant place to stay & is situated away from the noise of the main strip.

Hotel is set back from the beach, through the sister bungalow resort and across the road, nice and quite but local enough to bars and restaurants Breakfast served in sister resort basic but fine. Nice touches like beach towels and sun beds on the beach. Staff great. Would recommend for location and value. Hotel very clean but nearing a required coat of paint to hide a few marks ( being picky)

Nice hotel and staff, enjoyed very much my stay. Close to the beach where you can relax. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.

The hotel was clean and calm and quiet and yet was very close to the main road. Lovely swimming pool and friendly staff. There seemed to be a few families in the hotel. Lots to do in the local area with plenty of information leaflets at reception. Only down side was the wifi was completely hit and miss. Other than that I'd happily stay again.

I really liked this hotel. Great location great pool that got sun all day. Happy staff that say hello every time you see them. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was the breakfast! I feel they could do something a little better even adding some mushrooms or beans to American breakfast would be a start. but our stay was still good value for money. And we would stay again.

Decent hotel. With it's own pool & room cleaning service. Staff were friendly & helpful. Close to beach & also close enough to the centre of town & all the nice restaurants :)

Basic but perfectly nice place, only missing a kettle, good location, reception only work 7 till 11, but very friendly and helpful.

I have stayed here 3 times now. For the price, the location close to Lamar town centre and the beach, the helpfulness of the staff, the swimming pool, good, free Wi-Fi, in room safe, air conditioning, small balcony, you can't really go wrong.

Hate to have to fight a crowd but this is a nice little hotel. It has a great pool, friendly staff and quiet location. Short walk to town of maybe 7 minutes at most. Beach access is across the street. Hotel owner is very thoughtful with his design and friendly. The bathrooms were very swanky as well. We would stay again.

The hotel was good value and close to the beach. The pool was nice but opened too late and closed too early 9 to 9. The breakfast service across the road at their bungalow property was very good every morning. This hotel was close to lots of restaurants, but one of the best values we found was the Bamboo restaurant just a short walk along the beach. Allowed us to eat in the fresh sea air away from the noisy streets. If on a budget I would recommend this hotel.

Seabreeze Place is the sister hotel of Seabreeze Bungalows, which are located across the road by the beach. A fairly new property, quite small but with a reasonably sized swimming pool with sufficient sun loungers for the number of guests. Continental breakfast, included in the price, is taken across the road at the bungalows. Its only a two minute walk into the centre of Lamar, but the hotel is away from any town centre noise. Also a one minute walk to the beach, across the road and through the Seabreeze Bungalows property. All in all, a good hotel for the price.

We enjoyed and felt safe staying at Samui Seabreeze Place. Our room was on 1st floor. Overall, the room was good for us. It worth paying this price. The staff were kind and smiley. Good WiFi signal in the room. There were several parking lots in front of the hotel. Easily went down to the beach, just crossed the road walking through Seabreeze Bungalow to the beach. (The same owner). Quite far from the Lamai walking street. We could not walk (we personally do not love walking for long distance but we believe other western people can easily do it). There are a fews points that we did not like. - flush toilet was not clean. Seeming that they have not cleaned for a month at least. We could see the yellow dirty mark obviously. - A corner of the bathroom was with a clear glass covered with shade blinds but it did not cover properly so the people outside (especially on the swimming pool level) could look into the bathroom. I had to take a shower in the dark. Feared to turn on a light. - Shower is hanging too high. Quite trouble for Asian women like me to move it. - The hotel did not add the drinking water bottles and tissue papers for the next day but did not matter because 7-11 shop was located nearby. We bought it additionally for our stay. Summary : we will stay at this hotel again if we would like to save our budget.
