The manner of this hotel onwer is terrible! We booked 2 Rooms with private bathroom with full payment via hotels.com, but on arrival, we were asked to add B600 for private bathroom, she said what we booked is just share-bathroom room, even we showed her our confirmation email. When we want to carify the booking details, the owner shouted to us either PAY or LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. The hotel manager explained to us the unstable bad temper of the owner is due to her pegnancy, but we think it is not a reason to scream and shout on customers.

外表这间酒店很不错又新，可是房间就很简约。这里靠近夜市和海滩。

As a cheaper price, It is flexible and reachable place!!

The Sofia Hotel is very good value, in the centre of Hua Hin, and what it offers is quite basic, but it is clean and functional.

das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im alten Teil von Hua Hin,mit vielen kleinen Strassen,der Nachtmarkt und andere Märkte sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar.Wer zum Strand möchte muss 600 Meter laufen,der feinsandig ist.Das Hotel hat 2 Billiardtische zur freien benutzung.

Nice comfortable hotel , older and and little tlc could be ok. Hasn't deterred me. Have been back 4 times Location great for everything you need

Older style I have stayed here 4 times close to beach, nightmarket, transport, food and convenience stores. Always pleasant staff, welcoming and comfortable Location good

The Sofia is located near the night market, beach, many shops, restaurants, bars all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. My medium sized room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The airco, lighting, shower all worked well. The room had a cupboard, chairs, tables with an inroom frig and safe. The staff is friendly and efficient, i will stay again.

It was a quaint little place, simple but nice and clean. The food was very good and cost less than outside the hotel. The only thing that was questionable was that the safe, typical of a hotel sate, was not attached to the cabinet that it was in. You could literally pick it up and walk out the back gate unseen. yes, of course someone would have to break into your room to do that, but.... But very nice people, free billiards, nice.

A good guesthouse... The bed was very comfortable and the location was quite, the restaurant had a good breakfast and the staff were all polite

Great beds...very comfortable, nice quite area and walking distance from many restaurants and nightlife... The restaurant in the lobby has good food... Overall a great guesthouse..will stay here again for sure.

An overnight stay in Hua Hin to catch up with some friends. I have stayed there many times because of great location and reasonable tariff. Walking distance to pier, bar area and night market. Good sized room, aircon works well , comfortable bed, and hot shower.

When we arrived at the hotel, I was informed that they only had two rooms left. I had booked four rooms. We were directed to the next door hotel where two rooms were provided. So two rooms at the Sofia Hotel and two rooms at the next door property called Smile Guest House. I stayed at the Smile Guest House, so am not in a position to comment.
