Summer Luxury Beach Resort (SHA Plus+)

Very beautiful property! We had the premium ocean suite and the views of the sky / beach / environment was amazing. 10/10 recommend Excellent for solo travellers and even better for couples.

This is a very under rated resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As soon as we got there we felt so relaxed. The resort itself is a bit off the main road so it’s a bit of a walk to anything but we just rented a scouter to rip around everywhere so it really wasn’t an issue. It’s actually nice that it’s away from everything as you get a more peaceful experience. The whole theme and landscaping of the resort is beautiful as well as an amazing pool. The restaurant is fantastic and really makes it hard to want to go anywhere else. Overall I had a great experience at this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a relaxing environment, good food, and great staff. Will definitely stay here again.

For such a nice hotel they should get the road in repaired and not a swamp so that its easy to walk in and out of the resort. But other than that the food was ok and pool and room was great.

Nice hotel but reception desk seemed unhappy. Room and pool area was nice but no loungers or service on the beach. Road to get to and from the hotel was potholed and difficult to walk - especially after the rain. Can go around the beach tho

Water was brownish coming out of the tap and we had ants crawling out of our sink consistently through our stay… Not very luxury if you ask me.

Great property. Very spacious & luxurious rooms. Check in was interesting as my room was only available after noted check in time of 2pm which I have never experienced before. Another interesting feature: all clocks including the one in lobby were set to the wrong time (not intentionally apparently).

Nothing special about this place apart from the pool and proximity to the beach.

An amazingly large room and bathroom - pool was fabulous!! Staff were great and everything was very clean and well designed. There is an on-site spa where we had what wonderful massages and facials. The restaurant is on the beach so there were really lovely views too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was very large and comfortable. Grounds were well kept. Service was fabulous and Win (the pool bar waiter) was the most amazing!! As stated in other reviews the road in was terrible on a scooter but not really that big of a deal! Had a great stay!

Nice hotel with large rooms, hi ceilings. In a good area but if you’re walking to the hotel’s entrance you have to go down a long winding unpaved road surrounded by bushes and nasty industrial waste. Not to mention the creatures that spring out of those bushes. Daytime it’s ok. Nighttime you either need a taxi or scooter or it’ll be the scariest walk.

Love this hotel. We stayed in room with a pool. Breakfast was great. The hotel has no real beach but we didn’t feel it ruins the experience. We loved the fact we had a real coffee machine with capsules… we will definitely come back.

I was apprehensive as read some negative reviews. However everything was prefect. Pool was great. Food was very good. Staff super friendly. Room huge. There is no beach per se but we knew this and pool more than compensated. If you want beach you merely walk 5 minutes either direction from waterdront. Overall it was really good. Value for money and a pretty eclusive feel to it. Highly recommend.

Summer Luxury Beach Resort is a strange place. It features a mid-century Americana Motel design but doesn’t quite pull it off. The rooms are huge and spotlessly clean, all featuring big balconies or terraces. Unfortunately the pool isn’t very pleasant and during our stay was overrun with very noisy children - this is more of a family hotel than a chilled adult place. The food in the restaurant is ok for lunch and dinner, but really bad at breakfast. There are no covers on the food, meaning lots of flies all over everything, everywhere else in Thailand seems to have plastic covers, why not here? Another design flaw is the hotels position on the seafront. There is no beach at this point, just a rocky point but you can walk to the beach very easily. I was amazed that the architect didn’t make more of the seafront position by adding a pool or at lease giving more rooms a sea view! Anyway, we escaped the din of the pool by walking 5 minutes down the beach which has a collection of chilled out bungalow operations. It’s a nice beach though very shallow and not great for swimming. Food was better at the backpacker bungalow than the hotel.

Everything was excellent but if your looking for a resort with a nice beach setup and not alot of rocks, look elsewhere. But for those who don't care about that and enjoy a nice pool with nice size rooms you probably won't find better.

Fond memories of my stay here. The staff was friendly and polite and ready to assist with any requests. Rooms were bright and spacious.

Just returned today from a lovely stay at Summer Resort. Lovely friendly staff and great spa.
