The Sands Khao Lak by Katathani Resort

I was traveling with my family. We stayed at the sands Khao Lak for 3 nights in a pool access room. My girls loved the slide pool, the weather was so nice and the buffet breakfast was good enough. Overall we loved our stay at the Sands Khao Lak

The hotel is large, the staff is polite, the facilities are well maintained, there are many breakfast options, there are children's pools, and there are swimming pools that can only be used by adults. I will stay again.

酒店員工服務態度很好，酒店整體都很舒適，靠近沙灘，很適合一家大细，酒店位置很好， 附近很多野食，好方便。

We stayed here for 4 nights during Xmas holiday. Hotel environment was nice maintained, breakfast also variety and good. The beach was so great, clean and warm water for swimming, we ignored pool because no need. However still have some thing need to be improved. Wifi signal was poor, we chose to open 4G roaming as Wifi was unusable. Air conditioning was humid... Overall speaking, it's a good hotel and we enjoyed our stay here, will consider to come back again if price is reasonable.

在入住九個月前訂的non-refundable房間，加上10%折扣只要1100港元一晚。 在這酒店住了三晚。房間是5122 pool access有可以直出這組房間的"私人"泳池。房間很大，冷氣很凍。賣點的泳池，基本上沒其他住客使用。長度超過50米，我們都游得很開心。酒店該有的都有。沙灘一般般比較大浪。走5至10分就是大街。吃喝都超方便。 寇立不同布吉三大海灘。若想有個寧靜假期、遠離熱鬧人潮及放空。這間五星級酒店值得推薦!

環境幽美,房間設計新穎,設備齊全,早餐豐富,服務殷切,充滿渡假氣氛,最享受是陽台泰式按摩,非常好的入住經驗!

The Sands er en perfekt plass å feriere med familie og barn. Flere bassengområder, restauranter, treningsrom med bordtennis og biljard, butikk og supervennlige ansatte. Frokosten var av ypperste klasse. Sentralt plassert for flere utflukter, spisesteder, marked og andre aktiviteter. Det eneste som trakk litt ned for oss var at det ble flagget med rødt flagg på stranden, det var store bølger og jellyfish som gjorde det vanskelig å bade.

Fantastic resort, great clean rooms and beautiful staff

This was already our fourth stay at The Sands – and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Our kids absolutely love this hotel, and so do we as adults. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family holiday. The water park is a hit with the little ones, and the beach is stunning - clean, peaceful, and just steps away. We also appreciate how easy it is to reach the main road with just a short walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a 7/11, and great local restaurants. The Sands has truly become one of our favorite places to return to, and we can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect balance of fun and relaxation!

Good hotel with friendly staff. A bit worn down though.. but over all good! A big plus was that they had knowledge about glutenintolerance and had an all glutenfree meny! Good for me as a person with celiac disease :)

Overall was a good stay, however a bit of a swifty was pulled - we paid for a family pool suite, and clearly was the junior pool suite (difference of around $40 AUD per night) - but were told it was the right room just in a different area - but their room layouts on their own website disprove this. The room was probably preferable in the end (more private) but the fact we paid more, and they tried to do this secretly. Also happened to two other families we spoke to while there. Beds were rock hard and pillows too soft so we slept poorly (we left a feedback form after the first night, but was never picked up) The general manner of the staff was fine - FoH staff were not as friendly as you’d expect, but hospitality and room service were absolutely lovely. The facilities were good, great pools, and pool side rooms are a must to avoid noise all day long. BBQ buffet was sensational. I would give it a 7/10 overall, slightly generous seeing the room issue.

The Sands is a great resort for families and especially those with younger children. The pools are great and also there is a good playground area. We loved the rooms with their own pools,these were also great for young families. I'd highly recommend this resort.

Clean and safe environment with very polite and friendly staff.

Super Aquapark, gutes Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal. Gym sollte modernisiert werden. Strandabschnitt ok.

Great family get away. Pools a bit crowded at times, later breakfasts got a bit crazy. Overall lovely.
