The Stay Chaweng Beach Resort

For a hotel so close to the action my room was pretty quiet

I live the area it’s close to the airport and all the other attractions on the island are a motor scooter away . The each here is very nice with plenty to do at night all in waking distance. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again .

Very cool people

Very friendly, helpful staff but very basic, poor quality breakfast and there was no hot water from my shower on each of the three days of my stay - although the engineers did visit the room to fix the hot water (with varying degrees of success) the issue reoccurred each day which was very frustrating. Oddly, although the Stay backs right onto Chaweng Beach they don’t provide any sun loungers on the beach for guests which seems like a missed opportunity as beach clubs and hotels either side do just that. Overall The Stay felt more like a hostel charging hotel prices.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cost per night is reasonable. It very convenient, you can walk to restaurants, bars, shopping. Anything you want, you can find it here.

The location is good from a street perspective, not so good from a beach one, at the rocky end of the beach, however a short stroll on the beach and hire a sun bed for the day for 100BHT and beers hand delivered 70BHT the staff were excellent, i rented the Honda Click from them for the duration, brand new 3,500 Bht for 21 days absolute bargain, whats not to like.

Loved the location. Was able to get on streets close to restaurants, but also close to beach clubs (not to much in hearing distance). Room is smaller, but perfect use of storage areas. Only one problem was having air conditioning blasted on us while we slept.

Stayed for one night on arrival in Koh Samui. Was fine for the price point, room was clean and well equipped. We didn’t use the pool but it was fairly small. The staff were friendly and location was in the heart of the action (if that’s what you’re after!)

Another nice boutique hotel, smaller room than last time I stayed in Samui- last hotel had a jacuzzi in the room - but for the price this was perfect - modern, clean and helpful staff . Great view of beach and sea. Food was excellent.

Bright modern property right in the beach. Loved the swim up bar and the yellow pool towels. Rooms are very small but stylish and have everything you need.

Very clean, more modern than similar in the area especially for the price. Only negative breakfast was kinda poor and lacking. Would stay again.

The Stay has the potential to be extremely good. Great location and the reception staff are outstanding, can’t do enough for you. Staff at breakfast need a little work, you either run out of plates or run out of food. The rooms just need a couple of small touches, a couple of seats and a table on the balcony would be very useful and a bin in the room other than the tiny one in the bathroom. TV channels need some serious attention. Like most, I’m only in the room to sleep and shower of a night but there’s only half a dozen channels to pick from and they’re all in Thai. Like I said, a few minor things and this place could be extremely good.

Airport transfer would be a very nice addition. Nice to order fresh Breakfast meal and have cook to order.

A nice place...very thing were OK for a short stay.

We loved it here, walking distance to everything, great room and wonderful staff. Extended our stay because it was so relaxing
