Amazing hotel with the best staff! We arrived early and were able to access our room almost immediately but in the meantime were given coffee & water while we waited. Room spacious & had a view of the pool. Definitely worth the upgrade to the club level room. Good location & m great pool…sanctuary within the city. Overall, great hotel & we will back. Thank you to the Sukhothai team!

We love staying at this hotel: it’s our 20th time! It’s quiet, has a higher standard of clientele, the pool is great and the new spa looks amazing, though perhaps a little expensive. Great breakfast too. The staff are marvellous. Would love to see refillable toiletries instead of the throw away miniatures and solar panels to produce clean energy and hot water. It would be even better as an adults only hotel or at least with a children area and pool separate from the adults.

Still a great and quiet place to stay; the refurbished pool and Spa are a welcomed improvement. Great service all around.

This is one of the world's best hotels for style, quality service, and comfort. Thailand is full of wonderful hotels, but this one is truly extraordinary.

This is a great property. The staff is extremely professional, the rooms are very nice and clean and the pool is exceptional. Definitely go to the breakfast buffet. I think it is the best I have ever been to. Definitely a 5 start hotel.

This is a lovely property. The staff was so attentive and kind. Great pool and gym facilities and wonderful breakfast

The hotel is in general very good, particularly when taken into account value for money. There was one glitch during our stay. My wife went to the gym changing room in the morning one day to steam and sauna. When she went into the changing room she found out that the steam was not turn on so she went to the gym reception to ask for assistance. However there was no female staff on duty (only one male staff) so he can't really go into the female changing room to help but did told my wife how to turn the steam on. After the steam my wife went to take a shower but tried all three shower boxes has no hot water. She waited for some five minutes with the three showers turned on to hottest but still no hot water so she showered in cold water. Other than this unfortunate incident, the stay is overall very good. Staff are polite and friendly.

The Sukhothai Bangkok remains one of my favorite hotels in the world as it has for the past 25 years. It is an oasis in the heart of Bangkok, but physically and spiritually. They continue to maintain the gardens and the buildings beautifully and the staff is excellent. The breakfast buffet is extravagant. It doesn't offer a river view of course but it makes up for it with its lovely water features. It's been many years since I was there and I'm happy to see how little it has changed.

Beautiful hotel that has class. The pool is the winner with sun most of the day and loungers for everyone! So if you are looking for a safe and comfortable hotel with excellent spa fitness and pool facilities look no further in this budget.

Best hotel in Bangkok for deserving adults

We found this hotel to be an oasis in a very busy city. The property, amenities and service are superb. While we highly recommend this property, it may not be the best choice for first-time visits to Bangkok as it is located in a central business area and not close to the popular tourist sites such as the Royal Palace.

Excellent professional friendly staff . Fabulous breakfast with superb coffee , unusually good. Great swimming pool and pool area, Poolside lunch a bit over priced for what you receive . Executive suits are stunning
