White Monkey Guesthouse

We loved out stay at the White Monkey! The staff was very helpful, check-in was quick and easy, and the room was spacious and clean. They arranged for a songthaew to take us around the city, negotiating reasonable prices for us as well. The location in the middle of the city is excellent!

Great location. Walkable and free bicycle from the hotel.

Nice property close to everything in Phetchaburi. Short walk to restaurants, shopping, 7-11, etc. Good folks on the front desk, easy check in / out. Our room was on the top floor so it was quiet and private. Comfortable king size bed and decent size bath with shower.

La literie est dure, l'environnement est bruyant et la clim fait un bruit insupportable (boules quies nécessaires). Un petit déjeuner gratuit est fourni mais limité au strict minimum. En théorie (affiché dans le local) : toasts, thé, eau, bananes, pastèque et oeufs. Nous n'avons jamais vu les œufs, les autres items étaient successivement absents. Il faut faire sa vaisselle ! Et les chaussures sont interdites dans l'établissement. Les propriétaires sont serviables. Pas extraordinaire donc mais l'offre est assez pauvre dans la ville...

Pension très propre, calme et bien située. Etat quasi neuf. Petit déjeuner très basique jusque 10h. Le personnel est sympathique et on se fait comprendre. Je recommande.

The room was spacious and clean, however bed a bit hard and access to room was by steep narrow stairs. Still worth a stay and good value.

The White Monkey was the best place we stayed in Thailand in terms of value, location, wonderful hosts, and great onsite amenities. This is a very nice guesthouse. It is on a very narrow street so it is relatively quiet for being right in the middle of old town. The hosts were fantastic - answering all of our questions, booking pickup for the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand as well as local taxis and tuk tuks to see sites in the area. The guesthouse has multiple spaces to relax, computers for guests to use, and outdoor tables. It is all decorated with cute monkeys making it very family friendly too. There is even a simple breakfast available each morning.

This was a clean hotel with friendly staff. The workers were more than willing to help us get to the national park by ordering a mini-bus for us. They also allowed us to keep our bags safely locked up while we were at the park, even though we weren't staying at the hotel another night. She even ordered us a tuk-tuk to get to nearby attractions. There isn't a lot within walking distance of the hotel.

The hostel is new as same as staff service. The staff not reccommend in any hostel facility and attracttion around when we ask something she look like angry all time. The room was clean and big. No shower cab in bathroom.Clise to convenience shop.

Very friendly staff; was able to rent a scooter from the guesthouse for the day to go all over the place and see the sights. Had a room with ensuite bathroom, which got a little smelly (sewage, I assume) after running the water.

Fantastic offering for the price. I had the ensuite room at the top floor. Simple but clean and working. Liked the common areas and balconies. Great streetfood, (night) markets and small restaurants nearby. Rented a scooter from the house for very good price to visit the temple on the hill, caves, beaches etc. The area is well worth a visit and my stay at the White Monkey is a good way to get a nights rest. Took the train from Bangkok and walked to the place in about 15 min. Owner offered a scooter ride on the way back.

Nice Clean friendly Guesthousr e,Friendly receptionist and owner. Free coffee and a banana to get you started in the morning. Bike too but walked to most sights easily.Owner was very kind brought us to the minvan station.

Very clean, near lots of sights and located in a quiet street.

This place was great. Good design with a hint of humor, clean and new. Location could not be better...surrounded by wats including the best in town and a couple blocks from the night market and an incredible early morning market across the bridge where the Main Street is a mass of food, people and scooters. Beware of rugs on super shiny tile floors

Stayed in aircon room which was clean and comfortable. New hotel so everything was in new condition.
