Check in was easy ,the property and rooms are spotless clean. Very close to the embassy

Nice place. Rooms are small but clean. Oceanview room means partial glimpse at best. Town around the hotel opens and closes when the cruise ships arrive and depart.

We enjoyed this beautiful, historic hotel. It was right downtown and had a beautiful beach and pools on the property. We felt very safe and the staff was excellent. My only issue, and it’s not so much with the hotel as it is with Expedia. I have noticed a pattern in the level of hotel rooms we receive when reserving through Expedia. We had a tiny, odd shaped, corner room that overlooked a roof and parking structure. The last Expedia room was right next to the stair well and the one before that, right next to the noisy elevator. I think I could call the hotel direct next time and get an equally decent rate with a better room.

Nice property in the heart of Nassau

The British Colonial is a historic hotel in Downtown Nassau, it is spacious, wifh a friendly staff, updated rooms, and a great private beach and conveniently in the heart of downtown Nassau. It is close to paradise island, the must not miss fish fry, and about 15 minutes to Baha Mar and jaws beach. I cannot wait to go back.

Lovely place and staff. Classic and charming. Fun to watch cruise ships come in and out. In the heart of town which was nice. Pool, beach, bar and gym were all great.

The property is great but the area surrounding the property shuts down once cruise ships leave port which gives the impression they cater to the ship clientele needs.

All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable vacation.

Staff were professional, house keeping was great, beautiful place. Minor things: Shower had very weak pressure and would take a long time to become hot. Hold for the hotel was charged to my card even though they said it wouldn't be, still waiting on it to be returned which can take up to 14 days.

Hotel is in a great location if you want a highly walkable area near downtown. The property is a manageable size and well taken care of. I would recommend
