Excellent hotel with good staffs and service

Don't be fooled by the name. This Hotel is great on the outside but lack in regards to the details. Room was fine. Did not have free water available everywhere. Did not have free ice cream station for the kids. And did not have a kid slide for the kids' pool. The real kicker was that there's barely anywhere to swim in the sea since it's cordoned off and extremely rocky. For how much you pay for this place you would expect way more. I wouldn't stay here again and would recommend you stay somewhere in Ayla.

I was impressed by the service and hospitality of every single person in every department. I felt that the staff was trying so hard to please us and make our stay enjoyable. I am proud to be Jordanian coming from the U.S to see this kind of service.

Huge resort with various activities. Pools are big covenient, even if the resort is full, you dont really feel it. We took half board and had lunch (and beer) by the pool everyday, prices were reasonable for such a luxurious resort. Some more food options for children by the pool could be a thing for improvement. Everywhere was perfectly clean. Staff is one of the most wonderful parts; all was amazing. Even the lady -whose name i shamefully dont remember- greeting at the door of the food hall (for breakfast and dinner) started remembering us and our daughters name - when the resort was full!!! During the day and every night they have activities for kids. While walking around we saw an amphitheather which was not being used during the time we stayed and shows were done in the common area. Highly recommended

Ebookers uses age 13 to meal 'child' while the property consideres 13 year olds as Adults. What was already extremely expensive (400 euro a night for a 'family' room) became 140 Euro more expensive at check in. Ebookers - you need to update your pricing for this proprty to reflect 13 year olds as full adults and avoid people lilke me getting a negatrive surprise at check in. Overall this is a nice family hotel but - in my view - extrememly overpriced.

Room had insects, amenities were very poor , and when you order anything it takes a long time,

Bathroom was a little dirty. No towels, no bathrobs, no iron, no slipers in the room.

Hotel rooms in bad condition and need upgrades (rooms are more like 2 star motel not a 5 star hotel). We booked two rooms: first room there was dry urine on the toilet seat and bed sheet had a big coffee/beverage stain and two towels were dirty. Second room had no towels. We had to wait an hour to get our room cleaned and serviced before we could check in. Wet towels handed to us at reception smelled horrible. Food service below average: One restaurant for breakfast buffet and was crowded and service was very slow - if you are a family with kids breakfast will take a good hour or more. Dinner at same restaurant was for extra charge (about 80JOD for two adults and two kids) but food selection was horrible. I booked this hotel several times over the years since 2018 and this will be my last time at Movenpick the place is a run down. Staff are kind and helpful but the hotel is obviously understaffed and needs major facelift. Until that happens I am not staying here again.

Great place for family with many pools and great food and beach front.

Die Anlage ist super schön, rießen groß und schön angelegt. Gerade die Pools (rießig und viel!) sind super, echt groß und man kann sogar von einem in den anderen über eine Rutsche. Gerade für Kinder gibt es so echt viel zu entdecken. Was aufgefallen ist, ist die aktuelle Tourismus-Lage. Es sind einfach bei weitem nicht so viele Gäste da, wie das Hotel haben könnte. Dennoch wurden jeden Tag Aktionen für Kinder angeboten. Das stelle ich mir echt schwierig vor für die Animateure, meinen Respekt habt ihr! Wer es generell ruhiger mag, ist dadurch momentan aber auch zur richtigen Zeit dort. Platzprobleme gab es ganz sicher keine. Die Sauberkeit ist das einzige, das etwas auffiel, allerdings nicht stark ins Gewicht fiel. Wir hatten 2 Tage eine tote Kakerlake im Hotelzimmer, direkt neben dem Nachttisch, also nicht versteckt. Und auch sonst war ab und an mal eine etwas stärkere Reinigung notwendig (für ein 5-Sterne Hotel). Aber zum wichtigsten.. der Service. Unfassbar! Ich hatte noch nie solch einen guten Service, von der Rezeption bis hin zu den Bars. Alle waren sehr zuvorkommend und außerordentlich höflich. Besonders aufgefallen ist hier das Hauptrestaurant in dem es auch Frühstück und Abendessen gab. Es wurde jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen und alles dafür gemacht dass es allen gut geht. Liebe Grüße hierbei auch an Denny (stellvertretend für alle anderen, da ich jetzt nicht alle Namen aufzählen kann). Danke noch mal für die schönen Tage und den perfekten letzten Abend!
