Good location, nice staff, nice room with a low price

Nice and pleasant environment. However, you should ask for whether they will charge on you like laundry service. They will not tell you beforehand.

Actually the instructions of the hotel booking is very unclear. We chose the higher price for the type of the room which charged us 27 JOD. When we check in the hotel, they said its not a private bathroom, we have to share with others on the same floor, around 6 rooms together. The most important thing is in the booking, it didnt mention anything about shared bathroom, and we were told that private bathroom should be "en suit". But seriously, who will know that??????? Its the very first time that I have this problem. Ok! Then they gave us a shared bathroom room; and they said 27JOD should be the rate of the room like this. The next day morning, I saw the neghbour, they have the same room as us too. So I asked them, how much did they pay for this room, they said 20JOD. So now, clear enough; actually we paid more than them orginally, n we were told we have a share bathroom instead. To make it clear, they were out of the room, so they just pull us to a share bathroom room and make it sound reasonable. Thats very rude and weird. I will never come back to this hotel and they are not honest at all.

I turned up at the hotel (after a bus journey from Petra ) only to get some excuse from staff about maintenance work in my room!! Truth is, Zaman have a very old booking system and because of their location and price, get over booked. I was then sent by Zaman to their 'sister' hotel the Hotel Arabesque, in a completely different area of Amman. Zaman Ya Zaman, it is 2023!!!! Modernise!!! Zaman could have contacted me to tell me or cancelled my booking earlier....

We booked this hotel for 3 nights ,we had 1 x 4 sleeper room and 2x double room for 3 nights. We got to the Hotel at about 1 am as our flight landed at 11pm ,The hotel made some silly excuses saying theres a leak in the room we supposed to check in amd he needs to evacuate the building and sent us off to jordan towers which is non the better in terms of standards though the people treated us kindly etc i eventually had a beautiful stay at this hotel its plain and simple my complain is that if i wanted to book this hotel i could have online and it wouldv saved me 1200zar per night after checking in i went to fight once more alone demanding some sort of refund or atleast the extra cash paid for the booking as now this hotel is a cheaper hotel and i paid 350$ fore 3 nights etc which the hotel refused to refund. I would never recommend this hotel to any1 its hard earned money which i would say they stole. If i could smack some1 it wouldv been that guy imagine all of this drama happening at 1am with ur family getting kicked from pillar To post and after all not refunding the extra paid for being checked into a cheaper hotel .Bad experience it still upsets me 3 days later ...daylight robbery dont book this hotel ...stay at Rafi Hotel iv stayed there plenty of times service is good,rooms are good price is good just never had availability.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Great location for downtown Amman. Really nice breakfast room with good breakfasts.

La chambre réservée n’était pas disponible (problème égouttage) et ils ne nous on pas prévenu à l’avance. Seul plus, ils ont trouvé un autre hôtel à 10min à pied mais pas du tout dans la même gamme de prix. Ils auraient pu nous faire une réduction sur le prix ce qui n’a pas été fait. Donc si vous réservez à cet hôtel faites bien attention.

I booked two singles en suite which was confirmed. When we arrived there we‘ve been told that no rooms are available. After about an hour we were relocated to the Arabesque Hotel (same owner?) which was praised to be an upgrade to a 3 star place but especially the single my friend was not even 1 star. We choose the Zaman for its location and found ourselves 1.5 miles uphill from the old city. The whole thing seems to be a kind of a scam because people checking in at the Arabesque were relocated too. I did a review of the Arabesque at Google which is just my triple room, singles are worst hotel rooms ever seen.

The WiFi was not good at all. However i recommend it because it is a nice place. The receptionist at night was very helpful and friendly and polite.

The property is in the heart of downtown super close to main attraction. Staff is extremely helpful and super nice. The property itself is a bit worn down however it is nice. Overall experience is great!

Great localization, friendly & well English speaking staff. Delicious breakfasts and always smiling ladies in the kitchen. Good air-conditioner (I needed to warm-up due to being in Amman during the winter and it worked very quick and satisfying). PS. As we talked during my check-out: would be great if reception would have a laptop/computer to print something - like e.g. boarding pass when guests leave. Could be helpful in the future.

Not very satisfied. We arrived and the receptionist didn’t even know which kind of room we had booked so we are not sure we were assigned the one we have paid for. Breakfast was included but the day after we were leaving early for Petra. Although we had told them the afternoon before they didn’t offer to prepare something we could have taken with us… not even a bottle of water. They just said we could have taken a bit of coffee or tea in the morning there. When we arrived at the Jett Station we met many tourists like us with a packed breakfast from their hotels. The room was super noisy because it faces on the main road of the Roman Anfitheater so position is great but room insulation is not. It was not very warm either.

The hotel is good compared to other properties around the area but a bit noisy. Rooms are clean and nice. The staff at the front desk are helpful. Breakfast in amazing and the filipino staff are kind and great cooks. On the downside beware of the hotel swap scam. Luckly I read about this before on one helpful review. On arrival, if they provide the pick up from the airport, the driver will tell you there has been a problem with your room at Zaman ya Zaman and they will take you to an other hotel that seems to be somehow connected or owned by the same individuals. This other hotel -Arabesque in our case- is a dirty and rundown property which cannot be what you paid for in the first place. They tell you that you will be transfered in the morning to Zaman but the next morning they will tell you you have to stay there as your room is not available in Zaman and are very insistant on this. I said absolutely not and went directly to Zaman to straighten up the situation. As they saw I was unhappy and unwilling to be left in that dreadful Arabesque Hotel, in Zaman I was told they were waiting for us and the room was ready, no problem seemed to exist. We went back to pick our suitcases and they even paid a taxi to take us back from Arabesque to Zaman with our luggage. The stay in Zaman was totally different, the area is lively and walking distance to downtown, the Citadel and across the Roman Amphiteatre, they offer good shared tours to diverse places in Jordan. Overall a good stay.

Hotel was nicely located and felt very secure. The room was big and had a nice view, the breakfast however was not worth it. Nice service, especially the drivers. Fairly cheap and very nice tours.

Pros: location, clean, breakfast is ok, just one type of fruit,homemade breakfast 3 choices, faster check in, air conditioning is great,safe area.Our driver Omar is excellent, took us to all main attractions, speaks english, vey polite. Everybody should buy Jordan Pass before come to Jordan, we used for our entry visa and many attractions including Petra.Cons: not handicapped friendly many steps, noisy street hard to sleep, ambulance and police makes a lot of noisy everyday, not quite area, need to improve bath towels, gave us a 2 small towels smells not so good

Great location within walking distance of Amman's tourist attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. My private room was comfortable and clean. Big free breakfast. Wifi could be better, but works well enough in common areas.

Una gran zona si lo que quieres es hacer turismo en la ciudad, desde las terrazas de la habitación hay una gran vista del teatro romano. El desayuno muy bueno, y en general el trato del personal es muy cálido. Totalmente recomendado
