Lovely hotel. Easy check in with welcoming drink. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. I loved the pool and swim up bar. Friendly staff.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Tropikist. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were also impressed with the wide variety of breakfast and dinner options available. One gesture we truly appreciated was the courtesy extended at check-out—although the official check-out time was 11:00 am, we were kindly allowed to use the pool facilities for an extra hour. It was a lovely touch that made our stay even more enjoyable!

I stayed at the hotel with my girlfriend at the time. We both enjoyed the ocean view and the overall ambiance of the resort. We had a meal plan which included breakfast. The breakfast was good. I felt so comfortable at the hotel that I proposed to my girlfriend in our room. We are now married and plan on visiting Tobago and staying at Tropikist Beach and Hotel Resort again!

Need updating and provide handicap accessible.

Well we always wanted to visit, and we were not disappointed. Very well kept, a bit dated but the pool, garden and beach view made up for it. The food was excellent and the service was supreme. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone who is considering a visit.

This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve been going there for years. The Karaoke sassing is great. The swimming pool with waterfall is truly amazing. The beach cabana is sweet. I love it

The hotel is very clean and has a beautiful view. The staff are very friendly. The food was not Bad. The pool is great, will definitely come back. Only thing was the WiFi was weak.

Experienced my first case of racial profiling here. If you are of East Indian decent, prepare to be treated as a second class citizen. While the "white" guests are treated as royals, you, (even though you are paying the same prices) will be faced with an abrasive attitude and one word responses where they are don't even acknowledge your presence. Imaging being seated within 1 meter of the washroom in an empty dining room, not once, but twice! Is not like they aren't hospitable, its just they know WHO they chose to be hospitable too. Apparently this is a common situation that east Indians face here because most of the vendors in the surrounding area confirmed that this is a common thing that happens to the East Indian guests here. I definitely would not be returning here as I'd prefer go somewhere where my ethnicity is not a factor in the way I'm treated.

The resort was beyond my expectations. The only complaint is the WiFi. It kept dropping off while at the resort all the time. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.

Service was excellent.. The rooms with the pool/garden view could do with an update. The rooms with an ocean view are more updated.

Perfect location right on top of the beach. Has 2 pools and another heated one. Right next to airport as well. Worth to go all inclusive for the price. Highly recommended.

Tropikist is an excellent hotel. First, the entire staff, from management to security to the wait staff, is accommodating and considerate. Malaika Taylor, the guest relations administrator, is efficient and helpful. Although the flights to Tobago are at strange and inconvenient times, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Second, our room faced the ocean, allowing us to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. The view was fantastic; one unique aspect of Tobago is the abundance of birds. Tropikist features lush greenery, with trees teeming with thousands of birds, creating a symphony of beautiful sounds. The combination of the waves and the birds produced an unbelievably soothing soundtrack to our stay. The food was delightful. It wasn't your typical all-inclusive salad bar; while the selection was more petite, everything was fresh and flavorful, including unique offerings like soups and homemade bread. There were a few cabanas on the beach, where we spent some time. Although the beach was small, it was adequate. My wife didn't enjoy it much due to the waves, so we visited a public beach just a seven-minute walk away. There, we found shops and places renting chairs and beach umbrellas. Overall, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation, Tropikist is the perfect choice.

When checking out at 11am, they should provide a lunch option for all inclusive clients.
