On our last night in Tunisia, we were supposed to be back at the hotel (picked by our operator) where we started the tour. However, we could not do it again. We wanted a hotel with actual amenities, working AC & not under renovation with filthy floors like the other. Hotel le Consul was well-located, clean, modern inside, with a great breakfast (including an espresso machine), fitness center, bath tub and working AC. We are so happy we chose to stay at Hotel Le Consul. We slept comfortably & they helped with our airport taxi in the morning.

Good hotel with onsite restaurant / bar close to Palestine transit stop. Due to my travel schedule I was only able to stay one night but the manager was very helpful, allowing me to leave my bags most of the next day, and going out of his way to help me get an affordable taxi to the airport. Great service!

Det var rent och fint överallt förutom fönster. Personalen var jättevänlig och hjälpsam, underbar städpersonal. Frukost var ganska bra men kaffe och te kunde varit bättre och vi saknade frukter. Jag hade det svårt med den hårda sängen trots alla personalens försök att förbättra situationen. Saknades sminkspegel. Totalsätt var vi mycket nöjda.

Staff are not helpful, they don’t answer properly, they don’t have information about food , taxi, services around . I struggled to get around

I arrived in to Tunis Carthage Airport at 00:30 am due to flight delays and I was worried about my check-in, but I sent a message to the hotel, and fair enough they were waiting for me as i arrived at the hotel, with a smooth check-in, the room and breakfast were very good.

Oveall good hotel for short visit

La struttura un po’ datata ma tenuta abbastanza bene, il personale molto disponibile e cortese, l’hotel si trova in una zona poco turistica ma a mezz’ora a piedi si arriva alla Medina, a 200 m dalla struttura c’è un ristorante di cucina tipica turca molto buono.

Clean rooms, modern bathrooms and very nice and helpful staff. Internet in all rooms, which is good as no English TV channels.

Es un hotel a la antigüa usanza. De esos hoteles formales donde se intenta facilitar la vida del viajero. El chofer de Le Consul nos esperó pacientemente en el aeropuerto, y nos recibió a las dos y media de la madrugada con una sonrisa, sin importarle las dos horas de retraso del avión. También nos informaron sobre la forma óptima de moverse por Túnez, y nos facilitaron completamente el alquiler de un coche para movernos por el país. También hay un restaurante en el que la comida es sabrosa, rica y asequible. Por último, el personal es muy amable y diligente. Si volviera a Túnez de nuevo, volveré a poder alojarme en Le Consul.
