Very good services and good location. However, some facilities are relavtively old.

除了位置好 其他一无长处，早餐比青旅还差，房间比小旅馆还小！另外我长了见识了！五星级酒店居然还有一大半看不见阳光的房间，而且不到20平方！不到20平方的五星酒店啊！谁住谁知道！

The hotel has a great location, very close to all the main tourist attractions. It was easy to walk or take a short ride to everything I wanted to see. The stay was comfortable and the convenience of the location made my trip much easier.

The staff were RUDE and ARROGANT Not willing to help. I will never step foot in their again

Very poor customer service. Istanbul very beautiful but the hotel has ruined our holiday. The shuttle service that was booked was awful. Dropped us on the main road saying that he cannot get to the hotel. We had to drag two kids and 4 luggages for 10 minutes to get to our hotel. We complained about the shuttle service the reception staff showed no sympathy and was quite rude. The breakfast buffet was a waste of money, the food selection is very low. The room cleaning was not done regularly. The return shuttle service was confirmed at the desk for 6am but they messed it up again and woke us up at 2am saying that our shuttle service is waiting. Very awful customer service. The hotel is very nice and the foreign staff are very friendly. I found the local staff very rude and not friendly. The manager who sorted our return shuttle to airport was very good. The location of the hotel is very good and would have given 5 stars if they hadn’t given us additional stress.

The hotel is decent but most of the ‘wow’ factor is in the main communal areas, such as the lobby, the spa and the lift. The rooms themselves feel outdated, especially in the bathrooms. It feels tired and worn out and there were areas where the wood has started to rot a little and there’s also slight rust on some of the fittings. Also the carpet in the room had ink stains. For a 5 star hotel, I expected things to feel fancy in the room as well as the communal areas but Legacy Ottoman seem to only pay care and attention to the spaces for external visitors rather than guests. Also, the room cleaning wasn’t great. The cleaners only replenished towels in the bathroom and didn’t tidy or wipe down surfaces etc. Again, for a 5 star hotel, you would expect a lot more attention to detail by the cleaning staff. However, the spa staff were lovely and very helpful. The spa is such a nice addition to the busy streets outside. The pool is great for family use but not for those wanting to do lengths and the maximum depth of the pool is only 1.4metres. The steam room and sauna were great and very quiet so we could relax with just our family.

Das Hotel ist von außen wie auch von innen wirklich wunderschön – fast wie ein Palast mitten in der Altstadt. Die Lage ist einmalig und das Ambiente sehr beeindruckend. Leider merkt man jedoch deutlich, dass das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Teppiche waren stark verschmutzt, insgesamt wäre eine Renovierung dringend nötig. Schade, dass hier bisher nichts gemacht wurde, denn das Potenzial ist enorm. Auch das Restaurant hat mich nicht ganz überzeugt. Ich hätte mir mehr Frische und Qualität beim Essen erwartet. Man merkt zwar, dass sich das Personal Mühe gibt, aber es entspricht nicht dem Niveau, das man bei so einem schönen Hotel erwarten würde. Fazit: Ein traumhaft schönes Hotel mit einzigartiger Atmosphäre, aber dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Mit mehr Pflege und Liebe zum Detail könnte es ein echtes Juwel sein.

I’m not going to share too much about my own experience since everyone’s will be different. The hotel is in a fantastic location—less than five minutes from a beautiful grand masjid, right next to the spice bazaar, with the Bosporus river and tram connection just around the corner (5/10 mins), plus plenty of food and shops nearby (perfect!). Hop on the tram and within three stops you’re right outside the Blue Mosque. The hotel room itself looked a bit dated and could do with an upgrade. In one of our rooms the Wi-Fi was very weak, though in the other room it worked just fine. On the positive side, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the chef, along with all the staff, was extremely hospitable.

It was one of the best experiences I had. My kids loved as well.

Great location next to the mosque and spice bazaar. Right near the water for a cool night walk. Very helpful employees.

Frühstück war sehr gut – frisch, abwechslungsreich und lecker

Das Hotel im allgemeinen war gut. Ich würde auch immer wieder hin. Die Lage ist perfekt und man hat jede Menge Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Eminönü/Mısır çarşısı ist in circa 5 min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Das normale Standard Zimmer ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Fön, Kosmetikartikel, Safe und Minibar. Sauberkeit: Für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel war die Sauberkeit leider nicht auf dem erwarteten Niveau. Unter dem Toilettendeckel befanden sich getrocknete Urinflecken, die offenbar schon länger dort waren und sich leicht hätten entfernen lassen. Im Badezimmer waren mehrere Schimmelflecken in den Fugen und Leisten zu sehen sowie deutliche Kalkablagerungen. Service & Details: Für Kaltgetränke wurden frisch gespülte, noch heiße Gläser bereitgestellt – angenehmer wäre es gewesen, diese vorher abkühlen zu lassen. Einige Salzstreuer beim Frühstück waren zudem verstopft, was den Eindruck erweckte, dass solche Details vor dem Service nicht kontrolliert wurden. Gesamteindruck: Abgesehen von der Reinigung handelt es sich um eher kleine Mängel – vielleicht Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Das Hotel ist ansonsten sehr schön, und ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Gepäckservice (Kofferträger/Kon­zi­er­ge), der ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und serviceorientiert war.

Zentral gelegen, ich hatte Probleme Taxis für An- und Abreise zu finden. Die Lage mitten in Eminönü ist aber sehr gut für Ausflüge zu Fuß. Das Guest Room Zimmer hatte kein Fenster nach außen, sondern nur in den "Innenhof". Es kam weder viel Licht durch das Fenster, noch war die Lampe im Raum hell - es war also immer etwas düster. Wasserdruck der Dusche war gut, Bett bequem. Frühstück war türkisch, Kaffee hatte nur Automatenniveau, also verzichtbar. Würde dem Hotel 3 Sterne geben, das historische Gebäude und die Lage haben wohl zu 5 verholfen.

Leider waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel nicht zufrieden. Obwohl es als Fünf-Sterne-Hotel geführt wird, entsprechen die Zimmer diesem Standard aus unserer Sicht nicht mehr – sie wirken deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. In einem der Zimmer herrschte ein unangenehmer Geruch, weshalb wir ein anderes Zimmer erhielten. Leider war dieses Zimmer extrem laut,2 Etage Deluxe Zimmer Richtung Straße sodass an Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Besonders ärgerlich war auch, dass sich die Klimaanlage im Sommer nicht individuell regulieren ließ – sie war auf 18 Grad fest eingestellt, was für uns und vor allem für unsere Kinder viel zu kalt war. Nachdem wir eine Nacht kaum schlafen konnten, baten wir um ein anderes Zimmer. Dieses befand sich in der fünften Etage und war zumindest etwas angenehmer. Mehrmals haben wir nachts/abends an der Rezeption angerufen und um zusätzliche Decken für die Kinder gebeten – leider kam keine Reaktion. Das ist bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie absolut enttäuschend. Zimmer Mädchen und Instandhaltung war gut immer nett und freundlich. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch das Frühstück – es war sehr abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: in direkter Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zur Straßenbahn und zur Fähre. Trotzdem würde ich das Hotel insgesamt leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Schönen Tag

Hôtel 5 étoiles mais notre chambre était tellement petite on n’arrivait même pas à ouvrir la porte des toilettes entièrement car elle touchait les wc.. la circulation dans la chambre était impossible à deux. Nous avons séjourné à deux dans la chambre 522. Aussi la lumière n’entre pas dans la chambre car c’est à l’intérieur d’une cours il faisait tout sombre. J’aurais mieux fait de réserver un 3etoiles. La piscine est toute petites seule 3enfants peuvent y entrer après c’est trop serré quand j’ai vu ça je ne suis même pas rentrée. Sinon le personnel est serviable et très gentil mais malheureusement je pense pas qu’une chambre comme celle que nous avons devrait être vendue dans cette hôtel. Hôtel est bien situé à côté du tram, du train également

The bed was comfy. We didnt buy breakfest option. The room was clean except the ceiling. The TV only had 3 working channels. The kids were upset about that. The bathroom was nice. The pool and spa area was good but the pool area smelled like mold. Room clean and hotel workers were nice and helpful. I would give it 4 stars. Good overall
