Amazing hotel

Everything was amazing, from amenities to the staff. Highly recommend

Beautiful setting, very nice room, gardens, amazing spa, very nice breakfast, very nice staff. Food prices are way over done, it is in the middle of nowhere so hard to visit anything outside of the resort. But for a relaxing holiday, this place is perfect.

We spent a week at Six Senses Kaplankaya and cannot recommend it enough overall. Although about an hour’s drive from the airport through hills and villages, the journey is well worth it once you arrive at this sanctuary of peace and beauty. The highlight is the staff: from the personalised GEM service by Melis, to the professional restaurant and spa teams, and the ground staff who ran daily activities — everyone made us feel welcome. Our maid, who provided thoughtful twice-daily service, left a lasting impression even though we didn’t catch her name. The spa was outstanding, with treatments that were both relaxing and rejuvenating. We also enjoyed a variety of complimentary activities, which kept the week engaging. Along with access to the numerous beaches, gym, yoga and sports facilities. Dining is a mixed point: the restaurants serve delicious meals, but it can become expensive and limited if staying more than a few nights. On the other hand, breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of fresh options to enjoy throughout the week. On arrival, however, there was no welcome drink and my VIP status was not acknowledged — no upgrades, discounts, or added benefits, which was disappointing. That said, the check-in process was quick and efficient. Overall, this is not just a resort — it’s a destination where you can truly relax, reset, and feel cared for at every moment. We left deeply refreshed and are already considering a return.

What an amazing property. Everything from the food to the service to the amenities was top notch. Taha was excellent and really did the most to make sure our stay was great. The food is incredible and so fresh. Highly recommend staying here.

Extremely Disappointing Experience. We chose this hotel expecting a world-class experience. What we got was neglect and indifference. My wife became seriously ill with food poisoning after dining in the hotel’s restaurant on the first night. We ordered a locally caught fish which was grilled just for us. Only we ate this. We lost 3 out of the 5 days, my wife confined to our room not to rest, but unable to leave. The level of hygiene in the outside restaurant was shocking. When our fish dish arrived, the waiter leaned in so close to the plate — face nearly in the food — as he checked for bones. He wasn’t wearing a mask, continually wiped his nose on his sleeve mid-service, and the blue medical gloves he put on as he pulled out the bones had been stuffed in his trouser pocket. This was downright unsanitary. The hotel made no real effort to take responsibility, instead trying to shift the blame to elsewhere. There was no concern shown to my wife, apology made to her or even a question directly to her on departure as to how she was. Be aware too of the fish farm directly opposite the hotel. The fish slime coats the sea water where you swim in the bay. The hotel try to keep on top of the slime but that’s a hard task and not always do they succeed. Small pool area over in with kids and left messy by those who use it.

Fabulous hotel. We stayed both here and the Mandarin O in Bodrum and this hotel blew the MO out of the water in every sense. Six Senses was brilliant - from the staff, the level of personalisation, the spa, the beaches, the free baby food… just fantastic! We will be back.

It was the best hotel in every aspect. The biggest issue was that we visited during the off-season, and it would have been helpful if we had been informed in advance that the restaurant, pool, and activities would be closed. While we enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing stay, it could feel a bit boring at times.

A piece of heaven on the Aegean coast. 3 beautiful beaches, amazing food options and great service by lovely people. Nice, easy walking tracks around the property where you can watch the sun rise and set. Will definitely return next year!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Six Senses Kaplankaya. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und das Hotel bietet unglaublich viel. Der Transfer vom Flughafen Bodrum dauert ca. eine Stunde und ist nicht sonderlich angenehm. Die Strasse ist eher rudimentär und in mittelmässigem Zustand. Einmal angekommen begeistert die wunderschöne Umgebung und die Anlage des Hotels, welche in das felsige Küstenterrain eingebettet ist. Das Hotel und die beeindruckenden Grünanlagen sind gut gepflegt. Da sich das Hotel über 500 Hektaren erstreckt und am Hang gelegen ist, gibt es einen gratis Buggyservice mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Fahrern. Wir hatten einen Ridge Terrace Garden View Room, eine Art freistehendes Häuschen mit kleiner Terasse, das sich etwas vom Hauptgebäude entfernt in der obersten Häuserreihe befindet. Das Zimmer war nett mit einem grosszügigen und bequemen Bett und einem grossen Badezimmer ohne Badewanne. Für unsere Tochter wurde das Sofabett am Fusse des Elternbetts inkl. Bettgitter vorbereitet, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Leider bietet das Zimmer etwas wenig Stauraum und Ablagefläche für Kleidung und Koffer. Der Service zeichnet sich insbesondere durch die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeitenden aus. Es kam teilweise zu Unstimmigkeiten und ab und an wurde der Tisch über längere Zeit nicht abgeräumt. Grundsätzlich war aber alles super. Besonders für Kinder bietet das Hotel sehr viel tolles Programm und einen eigenen Spielraum.

Mooi hotel in de natuur. Wel erg prijzig
