They couldn't find our prepaid Expedia reservation. Clean room, friendly staff. No safe or minifrig. Wifi nonexistant to terrible.

Good location on Main Street with a very good restaurant inside hotel.

Very quaint. Clean and everything was in working order. Good restaurant. The lighting was dark and it appeared unsafe around the outside.

Although the photos look great, there were numerous things that caused us to check out early. There was only 1 stained towel, no hand towel, just a single bath towel for 2 people. The bed was uncomfortable. TV did not work. WiFi did not work.

Avoid at all costs. Rooms are nothing like the photos, they smell very bad and overall just terrible. It's what you'd expect in a hostel.

Cant really complain much. It has everything you need. Hot water and nets on windows. Windows are soundproof. Everyday cleaning. Restaurant is ok but a bit slow. Reception is friendly and pro. Prices are ok. The only thing that was annoying is the disco bar behind the hotel so be ready to fall asleep at 3am on weekends. Fridge in the room and kettle.

Hotel looks good from outside, clean, friendly staff. But needs some work inside. There’s no WiFi, the 2 staff we asked tried to manually enter a WiFi address but nay. Mosquito net torn in multiple places and would never seal the bed. Also gives the very basic service-no face towels, no wash clothes, and just one towel for each of us two. No shampoo,no conditioner, no body lotions, just 2 pieces of bar soaps. The key card also puts on and off the lights by inserting in its slot next to the door. To turn out the lights, you remove the card out but be prepared to walk in darkness to your bed and from your bed to the card slot to turn on the lights if you need to. We verified the lights with staff who confirmed no switch except for bathroom light. We loved the breakfast.

I arrived at the Hotel from Kampala after Sunset and filled in the check in form and soon after that trouble started. The hotel staff have never heard of orbitz. They never listened to any of my pleas. I was literally thrown out of the Hotel and had to drive all over town til i found a small guest house by the roadside, Bilkon Hotel, that is where I spent the night. No food no cup of tea. Choose Igar Plaza Hotel at your own peril. The worst hotel i have ever visited on planet earth

I stayed at the hotel for 11 days. we were very pleased. everything was perfect. staff was friendly. next year, my choice will be igar.

The place to stay in Jinja. Source of Nile is 2000 UGX ride away. Excellent breakfast buffet. I arrived in Jinja 20 days ahead of booking date due to work schedule change, the Hotels.com app was not working, nor would the website let me change/cancel. Igar let me check in early and allowed me to call Hotels to cancel and rebook my room later that afternoon. 5 STAR service and patience. Small supermarket at bottom of hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows with working a/c. Choose Igar over all others. Three blocks down is The Deli, a coffee shop/ restaurant with Western style food. Europeans, Americans and Expats all eat there.

We liked that it was located in such s lively area. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that there is a small grocery in right next door The slight hardships were-the A/C unit blew out very cold air but the room was still not that cool. The hotel was very nice for a developing area.

Great centre of town hotel well maintained with good spacious cafe and restaurant.

The fastest Wifi. The staff was very helpful. Clean modern rooms with a good breakfast at their restaurant. Underground parking and easy walk to pubs in the area. A jewel in an old quaint town.

My recent stay in the Igar Plaza Hotel we such a uplifting experience from the front desk to the parking lot attendant in the hotel's basement to the maintenance manager and cleaner of my room. There were no issues at all. I can highly recommend the Igar Plaza Hotel as a base for any visitor to Jinja. Their central location in Main street added to the convenience of being within two blocks from Jinja's highly acclaimed Indian restaurant Moti Mahal. I found Jinja's Moti Mahal superior to New York's first avenue Moti Mahal.

As expected. Nice place for a business trip.

Very nice hotel in the center/main street of Jinja! It has very friendly staff, that were very helpfull with my needs and questions. Very big room, super clean, hot water and a very nice restaurant/Cafe to chill at. Definetly recommend staying here!
