Rundown hotel, leaking shower, very dirty carpet etc

Great location and close to Metro. Lots of restaurants In the area. Wonderful gym and pool area. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Will definitely stay again at this hotel.

Nothing unique. We request a room at higher floors to enjoy the view but we were tossed between the check in desk employees and never got our request. Poor breakfast choices. No welcome drink. Pool is small. Not worth the money unfortunately

Centrally located to see the sights of Dubai. Good value. Close to metro and a grocery store

During our stay in Dubai, we stayed at three different hotels. Unfortunately, Novotel Al Barsha was by far the worst experience we had. In fact, I can confidently say it is the worst Novotel branch we've ever encountered. The housekeeping service at this hotel is simply catastrophic. For five out of the seven days we stayed, we repeatedly asked them to vacuum the floor carpet and properly clean the room, but our requests were ignored. We had to change rooms twice due to hygiene issues, and we were in one of their suite rooms, which is supposed to be their best offering. The room was dirty, with outdated furniture. We even found human bodily fluids (sperm) on the armchair and cockroaches in the bedroom. Additionally, the hotel is situated under highway bridges, making it extremely noisy both day and night. Even toilets in the main hall are dirty, the public toilets in the streets are much cleaner… I've posted a few photos here to illustrate the situation. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially families with baby like us :(

L'hôtel était correct mais les chambres que nous avons eues étaient trop petites et les lits petits et un peu vieux. Le staff était correct et accueillant. La zone était prudente et on avait de la facilité à trouver un taxi/uber. Aux alentours il y a des restaurants, supermarchés et pharmacie. Overall je recommande l'hôtel mais prenez des chambres plus grandes.

Expedia showed me the room sleeps 4.....it doesn't. It had one double bed and one sofa bed which is just enough for 1 person, so 3 people can sleep, but not 4. Btw, the sofa bed was in a poor condition, not flat. We were stuck with this booking. Bad sleep quality affected our entire trip. I don't think I can trust expedia recommendations anymore and will book from other alternative platforms now.

They staff , Eva at the service counter , Steve the security and all the other staff were amazing. , very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The pool always well maintained. I would recommend then for any one to stay. I world give a highe rating than 5 stars but that’s all that’s allowed.

Tv connection very poor. Tried to watch BBC for the U.S. Presidential elections but no sound at all. No coffee and milk/creamer provided for reason of sustainability. Yet shower tap is dysfunctional. Takes a long while and lots of water wasted before the required water temperature is attained. Long wait at checkout just to get the tourism tax invoice which I had asked for at check in but was told to collect at check out. Counter staff were rather slow in their work and engaging in small talk with pax while keeping me waiting behind. Only 2 bottles of water in the room. Insufficient. No bedroom slippers and bathrobe provided.

The staff were really nice and the rooms were clean but plain. The hotel sits between the Mall of the Emirates and the Marina but in a non-tourist neighbourhood. It was very close to the Metro, which was fantastic for getting around town easily, quickly and cheaply. We did half-board which was a good option for saving some money and it meant we could have breakfast and either lunch or dinner at the hotel based off our plans for the day.

A nice hotel in a good location to get to everywhere else in Dubai. Only downside is, as a VIP access member, I didn’t receive any benefits. Hotel could do with a little renovation in the rooms too - a little dated and worn.

The room was not ready when promised… The room was dirty… TV not working properly… The Flish was running all night.. But the bed was comfortable
