The only disappointing part of my stay was the front desk experience with Marcus/Marcos. Before arriving, I called to confirm early check-in and he assured me it would be fine. Yet, when I got there, he refused to let me check in, insisting I wasn’t the person on the reservation since it was under my company’s name. I showed receipts in my legal name, offered my ID, company documents, and even the confirmation code of purchase. He refused all of it, yelled at me, and even snapped at an Uber Eats driver. When I contacted Expedia to adjust the reservation, he refused to check hotel emails or assist further. It wasn’t until another staff member took over that the issue was resolved in minutes, swiftly and professionally.
Thankfully, the rest of the hotel experience was the opposite. The room was clean, though slightly dated in smell, and I appreciated the eco-friendly toiletries. The location was excellent with a late-night ice cream shop right next door. Security, cleaning staff, and other employees were all welcoming and helpful. I even stayed an extra night thanks to the staff’s flexibility. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel.
just beware of Marcus at the front desk, whose rudeness doesn’t reflect the otherwise great service.
