When we turned on AC the air smells like pee… Very very stinky!

Overall decent but our pillows were terrible and had a dirty smell, the tv shut off every 20 minutes which is not helpful if you need tv to sleep, the room was either to hot or to cold and seemed very humid , the staff were nothing to write home about , they did the bare minimum and definitely no warm greeting or information on the property. The bar was nice and bartender was friendly. They need to do some serious maintenance on walls and carpet. Being that the whole point of a hotel stay is sleeping I was not very impressed on those conditions.

Easy in and out with food restaurants

The hotel seems to be run down or at least the 4th floor is in disrepair.

Needs to be updated in some areas but overall a nice place.

We were greeted and treated with Kindness. We used this hotel as a weekend “getaway” and we had an awesome time. It’s lots of things to do. Staff is nice and accommodating, and there is a lot to do in the area. We do plan on coming back for a longer stay.

Aloft Richardson has a great lobby and rooms. It's located in the State Farm campus and includes several restaurants and bars. Great staff. Great stay.

Loved the property will be my go to hotel when in the Dallas area

This was my second visit here and I have consistently had nice experiences. The staff is nice and the rooms are always clean.

Overall a great hotel was just very disappointed when I was booking online it was advertised as a breakfast buffet that I ended up paying $23 for and it was not a buffet at all.

Cons: • Poor management, no manager onsite at 3pm checkin* • Front desk staff disinterested, apathetic** • Room worn, carpets dirty, cabinet drawers broken Pros: • Excellent location, near restaurants, DART 1 block, Whole Foods, CVS 2 blocks • Neighborhood quiet, safe, well-maintained • Elevated Coffee & Tea across street *Checked luggage with front desk at 1 pm and told room not ready because of “the type of room” we had (suite). Told by middle-aged woman at front desk our room would be ready at 3 pm (check in time). No problem we left to have lunch. Returned at 3 pm and room still not cleaned. Young woman at the front desk said it would be ready in 15-30 min. At 3:45 pm we asked about our room and young man at front desk was exasperated and unhelpful. Told us manager was out, could not be reached, and he was unsure when the manager would return. Room was ready at 4 pm. **I understand sometimes there are delays however, this was handled poorly. Management was MIA and despite being the only people waiting in the lobby, the young man and young woman at the front desk were not proactive in keeping us updated. We had to interrupt their non-work conversation to check on the status. Despite our being patient, they were uncomfortable and ill-prepared in informing us we’d have to wait longer. Young man told me he was frustrated and unhappy because he had to give me this news. I guess I was supposed to feel sorry for him because our room wasn’t ready and his manager was offsite?

Great hotel

Not one single complaint. The hotel is a premium location! Loved all the activity in the area and so many eateries within walking distance. Parking was great. I watched the front desk dude get hammered by multiple guest and his demeanor remained professional and still kind - wish I got his name but it was dude with a ponytail lol. Very sweet employee.
