Found strands of hair in the toilet and on the bed when we just checked in. Room is big but old. Staff are friendly (not the check-in counter people) and security is good. Was hoping to get a room with a good view but instead was given a room that oversees a dull parapet. Feels like it’s one of those rooms which you give to those people who just wants to check in for the night to the hotel because they got too drunk or wasted to go home and they had a few extra cash on them. The system for room allocation booking is bad. We should show that we are tourists who travelled more than 23 hours to get here, but somehow, we were just given a below average room or rather, a typical ‘motel-standard’ room. Requested for room on high floor and room with a view, but the hotel staff that checked us in didn’t even bother to mention that it’s unavailable. He just overlooked it and brushed it off as though we didn’t understand English because we were Asian. Extremely disappointing, especially from a hotel like the Bellagio.
