Not so well

It was sufficient but nothing fancy or even nice. The room was small, the fridge smelt like something died in it, and the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent and the shower had good water pressure.

Breakfast had little variety and was not high quality

If you plan on getting any sleep. Do Not stay here! The ceiling and walls are paper thin! The room was not clean.

Coffee machine in lobby was out of order and so were some of the washing machines and hot tub.

altho the bldg is old the rooms are updated and very clean including the bed sheets/linen. I would stay here again

Our stay at this Best Western was quite disappointing, especially given that we chose this chain and paid extra for expected amenities like the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, our room had an overwhelming bleach odor and unclean carpets, which significantly impacted our comfort. The mattresses were also uncomfortable. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken and not repaired prior to our departure. We do want to commend the desk staff for their friendliness and the quality of the breakfast, which were highlights of our visit.

I found a place to sleep confortable

We were extremely disappointed in this hotel. The beds were beyond hard. I'm not exaggerating when I say the floor would have been more comfortable. The hot tub was broken and out of service. The pool had so much chlorine that it made my whole family nauseous just being in the room for a couple minutes. We were not even able to swim. Had to leave the building. The complementary breakfast gave you a choice of dry crumble biscuits or waffles. My entire family was extremely disappointed in this hotel. When I called to confirm my reservation we should have been informed by the staff of amenities not being available. A large reason we chose this hotel over another one in Crescent City was because of the pool and hot tub. We wanted to soak and relax after a day full of hiking, but no one was able to. The staff were very young and uninformed of dining, entertainment or direction in the area. When traveling we usually opt for Best Western but this location was a huge let down. Reimbursement should be required from the hotel if the amenities they advertised aren't actually available. Will not return.

Too expensive for this quality hotel

Incredible area! This was my least favorite hotel experience and not at all up to quality of typical Best Western. Our room was dirty, and there was a pile of used Kleenexes behind the bed table which we had to move due to the very limited number of plugs which made it very difficult to charge our phones and have a light on at the same time. However, the surrounding area and location of this hotel was absolutely perfect.!!

The hotel staff were pleasant and efficient. Room was clean. Only downside was the noise. Not well insulated. Could hear people talking outside and kids running in the room Nextdoor.

Staff were nice and helpful-they gave us local recommendations. They also gave us a room with a view when we asked.

Very convenient and clean and safe

The room was like a motel , the tub was sunken in in the middle and bathroom was tiny you should barely move. The beds were not comfortable and the linen was awful. Tv was outdated and had a grey tint to the screen. Spa was down. Was overpriced for what you get. Pictures were definitely filtered as it was not nice In person

Our 3 day stay in 2 adjacent rooms proved to be over priced and not worth positive reviews. The room floors were dirty and made us uncomfortable. Both rooms had an odor and there wasn't much room for more than 2 people in a 2 queen room. The pool seemed over chlorinated and the hot tub was closed. The breakfast was nothing special either. Overall not worth the extra cost for crescent city. I'll choose another location next time.

The Executive King room that I booked was amazing. Far nicer than the room I had booked at another Hotel in the same city. Amenities were top notch and aplenty. I really liked the fact that there are shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the bathroom that are comfortably citrus scented. The wifi connection was very strong and I was able to entertain myself endlessly with a few of my favorite shows on my tablet. One major bummer is the fact that the television in the room is not set up to be able to mirror my android phone or tablet. If that had been available as an option i would have been lost watching movies all day everyday.

We got there a couple hours early before check-in and they still told us we couldn’t check in yet. So a couple hours later when it was time, we were able to check in. As soon as we opened the door to the room, we immediately saw the bed wasn’t made all the way. Thinking that was odd, we went to investigate further and noticed dirty wet towels in the bathtub. And a rag on the bathroom counter. It was not what you’d want to walk into, especially paying over $200 for the one night. So I tried to call front desk, only to find out that the telephone in the room wasn’t even working! I don’t know what exactly we were waiting to check in for as room service didn’t even bother finishing up. I went down to the front desk and they told me room service had left for the day. I explained the situation. Just to be clear I wasn’t mad at the staff at the desk, I was mad at room service. The girl working there was nice enough to try to make things better, even though she wasn’t supposed to. She fixed the room up for us with new towels and sheets and offered us a couple water bottles. I’m sure it’s just a one time thing, but I’ll most likely never stay there again. The rooms are a bit outdated also. My in-laws were in the room next to ours and they had no issues, only some ants crawling around in the bathroom. Ours had a giant spider in the window… just be cautious if you decide to stay here.

It had two nice queens in the room. the tile for the bathroom area was slippery, even with towels on the ground; TV didn't work, had to manually set up cable to work. Connection to both TV and Wi-Fi were terrible.
