Bybee's Historic Inn in Jacksonville, OR is just gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully accommodated, the hostesses are welcoming and fabulous cooks, and the grounds are just beautiful. I would highly recommend this lovely Inn to anyone...
The rooms are amazingly clean and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfasts are outstanding. The hosts are very nice and friendly and the house is immaculate.
We probably stay abut 40 nights each year in hotels. This was the very best of all. The hotel is a restored Victorian (?) home. The rooms are well appointed throughout. We were greeted as we walked toward the porch before getting to the stairs. "Would you like something to drink? A glass of wine?" We were asked. It was hot so I took the cool Chardonnay. The library was "darker" feeling "cooler", and the living room and dining room were a walk back in history. In the morning we were served an excellent breakfast on lace table cloths on the porch. I can't say enough about the outstanding hospitality, cleanliness, ambiance, breakfast and warmth. My only regret? If too many people read this I may have difficulty booking the next time. Great value for an excellent stay.
