Chrysalis Inn and Spa Bellingham Curio Collection by Hilton

I was very curious about this hotel since it's part of the Hilton Curio Collection. Unfortunately, I don't think it lives up to the brand name. Yes, the rooms have fireplaces, giant soaking tubs, and a quiet waterfront view. Other than that, the rest of the room, the check-in experience, dining/food, is all a very generic Hilton experience. Which is fine. Just not Curio standards in my opinion.

The hotel itself was nice, and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, I’m giving 3 stars because of a disruptive incident during the night. Around 1 a.m., my husband and I were woken up by a very loud noise that lasted for about 10 minutes. It sounded like a generator or machinery running somewhere below us. We even got up and checked the room to see if the noise was coming from inside. I was just about to call the front desk when it suddenly stopped. It wasn’t a great experience and definitely interrupted our sleep. I hope the hotel looks into this so future guests don’t have the same issue.

Would have liked to be informed ahead of time that the patio was closed due to a wedding ahead of stay so I could plan accordingly

The Chrysalis was a great hotel and location as our family gathered for a wedding in July. The wedding was on the Schooner Zodiac which is docked near the Chrysalis. The hotel provided family dinner and brunch before and after the wedding. The setting for the meals was lovely - indoor as well as outdoor options for seating, with views of Bellingham Bay. The out of town guests were in awe of the beauty of the PNW.

Everything was outstanding. No complaints. Staff at the Chrysalis was very professional, as good as can be.

We stay at the Chrysalis every time we come to Bellingham and we always have a wonderful time. Great staff, lovely and quaint location walking distance to Fairhaven shopping and food. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Really a lovely stay at the hotel, and we so appreciated the comprehensive Dog Friendliness, as we never travel without our senior dog, so it made our trip all the better. Point of note, the trains are very loud, so unless you turn on sleeping music or use the ear plugs they will wake you. We were fine, as we live in the city anyway, but some people may be sensitive to this. The Spa was amazing! Highly suggest the Stone Crop Wrap!

Easy check in, great location with beautiful views and very walkable to restaurants & shopping. The passing trains are a bit loud, but infrequent and only a minor inconvenience for such a wonderful stay.

This is the third time we stayed at the Crysallis. It is a short distance from Seattle and a perfect place to stay on the water. The walking trail in front of the hotel is perfect if you want some exercise. We ate at the hotel for breakfast two days, lunch one day and dinner another day. Every meal was great. Our favorite place to hang out was sitting on the window seat looking out at the beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again.

Chrysalis Inn & Spa was a rejuvenating overnight getaway for the 4th of July weekend. The quiet and serene surroundings added to the ambience along with the excellent Keegan's for indoor dining and outdoors on the patio. Wonderful staff and customer service at the check-in and restaurant dining. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Overall one of the best hotel experiences I have had in years. Thanks to the staff.
