Hotels.com verified review

the hotel is a not so great renovated (awhile back) older hotel. Hotels.com gave it an 8.2 rating but it should be more like 7.2. The furnishings are very old and dinged up. the room we stayed in had paint peeling from the trim in the bathroom and a piece of paneling nailed to the bottom of the door to hide a hole.

The room was excellently prepared. The reception staff were friendly and prompt. The parking area was fenced and gated, so I felt my car was safe. The only complaint I had was someone smoking pot close to my room. The exterior of the facility could use a bit of paint to spruce up the building. I will definitely stay here again.

Outdated. Same pool from 20 yrs ago. Hotel in poor condition. I expect way more for a motel charging $165 per night. Still claiming egg prices are the reason for not serving eggs with breakfast. Egg shortage was over months ago. This place needs a major overhaul!

Good. Difficult getting handicap accommodations. Had to take toilet rail, which didnt fit well in small bathroom. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable for both of us. Continental breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating! Like the security there (fenced, locked gate).

Aged motel, rusty and moldy areas in room, dirty floor, meth users staying next door chain smoking cigarettes outside. Dilapidated drug addict apartments across the street. Lots of roving drug addicts outside of motel gates. Did not feel safe going for a walk. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

It is a very good lodging option when you come to this part of northern California, convenient to the North, Redwood National Park, to the South, Humboldt State Park, and just a 6-minute drive from the zoo with its Sky Walk attraction. The hotel is very clean, the service is great, and the breakfasts are varied.

The bathroom was dirty, the jet tib had no power, the area around the hotel was dirty,.homeless, garbage. Music played at 430 am with dogs barking for a hour at 5 am. We were next to the pool and very loud. It was not worth the trip
