We’ve been staying at Cold Spring Hotel for the last 5 years. Jimmy, the owner, makes us feel at home every time. He is friendly and very professional. We recommend Cold Spring Hotel 100%.

Comfortable room on the second floor, up some steep steps from the street. No lobby, but the host runs the cafe and seems to be there all day. Very convenient location for exploring Cold Spring and local hiking trails.

Located in the center of town. Clean & staff was very accommodating.

Very clean property and updated, in a historically old building. Lots of charm. Wifi is serviceable. Owner is very personable. Easy to get to the train or anywhere in town. Would be happy to stay here again.

The owners really put a lot of love into this property, and the breakfast was excellent! Great for a short trip from the city with great shopping and dining options nearby.

We’ve stayed at Cold Spring Hotel for Labor Day weekend for the past 3 years. Every time we stay there we feel at home, the owner and his son are SUPERB. The property is very clean. Perfect location, near restaurants, cafes, antique shop and more. Keep in mind if you want to stay at this place you need to book it months in advance during holidays.

The owner and his assistant were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very dated. Well located and plenty to do in the area. Not a lot of other options in cold spring though for places to stay

BEWARE: I appear to be in a battle with a fraudulent booking! The OPERATOR of the Cold Spring Hotel himself CONFIRMED i had NO RESERVATION, Yet despite NEVER SETTING FOOT on this site I am now getting junk email like this "rate your stay" piece I am responding to from hotels.com..... Be interesting to see if this "rating" gets a better response than their constant, repeated disconnect from phone "help" line.

Great service and very clean room. Owners were VERY pleasant and accommodating. Just a couple heads up for travelers. Our room, #4 was VERY small. We were there for a formal event at West Point and was difficult to get ready in the room. Also if traveling in colder months, there is only an electric baseboard heater in the bathroom, and a small space heater for heat. Not a reflection on the owners, just an FYI for future patrons. I cannot speak to the other rooms

Jimmy is great. Fransisco is helpful. Room and bed comfortable. Bathrooms are well above the norm for a small Inn.

Had a wonderful stay. The hospitality of Jimmy and staff was absolutely incredible, such nice people and extremely welcoming. Got a great discount at the on site cafe, 50% off for guests and the food was very good and homemade. The room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Best part was you were right in the village and near some hiking trails and nature preserves. Will be back and stay here again. Such a good experience!!
