Marginal cleanliness, poor breakfast, and beds that are way too soft. Yet this hotel is expensive relative to other similar hotels just a short drive away, likely because of its convenient location.

Quiet

We loved the location and the facilities, service was great as well. The only thing they can improve is the breakfast adding some fruit options besides oranges. Overall it is a great place for visiting Mount Rushmore and the area.

It was a great and spacious room. The bed was comfortable and the room was just perfect. Great location to be a hub for visiting all the things in the area!

Nice area

I have had bad experiences at a couple Comfort Inn stays, so I was a little leery, but booked after reading the reviews. And we were not disappointed. Hotel felt clean and well kept up and a great central location. We were also pleasantly surprised with the town of Hill City. We were visiting Mt Rushmore for the first time and just looking for a comfortable stay but fell in love with the area. Also the front desk lady who checked us in gave us a wonderful recommendation for a sweets shop downtown , and it did not disappoint!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay! Everyone was pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed the hot tub, there's also an indoor swimming pool.

Property in excellent condition and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were the usual fare offered at most hotels. Food was okay. Coffee wasn’t the best but I think it was the type of dispenser they use. WIFI was inconsistent and kept dropping. Otherwise, it was great and we would stay again.

Close to dinning , 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore / Crazy horse.

Everything was wonderful. We woke up to deer in the woods we could watch while eating breakfast. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff also kept everything spotless!
