Place is clean.staff is friendly

My husband and I stayed there for the weekend as we enjoyed a jazz fest. The hotel is in a great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. It is our go to place.

Pool not available due to repair. Bathroom vent was insufficient.

Very easy check in. We rented multiple rooms and put us all on the same floor as we requested. The rooms are clean and we had a walk in shower that was clean and roomy.

It’s nice to check into a hotel with brand new carpet. Everything is new and clean.

The property was undergoing a remodel and that was not shared at the time of booking. The staff seemed new and untrained. The bartender had to google how to make the most basic of mixed drinks. The front desk, on my first night, would not answer calls from my room. I had to switch rooms on that first night because there was no heat in my room. The cable never worked reliably and continued to go out throughout my entire stay. One afternoon I had staff members use their passkey and walk into my room without knocking or identifying themselves in anyway. The décor that use to be bright, fun, and funky was now dark and somber. When I was trying to check out early morning I could not find any staff on the ground floor. After calling "hello" over and over and checking every place I could access in the lobby area I finally, out of desperation, walked into the opened managers office, turned on the light only to find the front desk staffer sound asleep. They were clearly not ready to reopen to the public. I have stayed at this property many times over the years and I have always enjoyed my stay. After this experience I may not go back.

Our king bed was very close to the wall, the pillows were terrible and the ice machines had issues.

Building was undercontruction, but clean. Didn't like parking fee charge.

The area has tons of places to eat and hotel was very clean and loved the room. Definitely will stay again.

The hotel is under construction. We endured banging til 6 pm. Elevators didn’t work well. There were dirty clothes left behind in the room from the prior guest. My spouse fell in the poorly treated parking lot and finally, there was no water in the morning. There was zero refunds from the hotel or even an apology. Stay away.

Beautiful place

The gentlemen at the front desk is great! The rest of the property is SAD! It is going under renovations. The gym and pool are closed, although it is not posted on Htels.com. I would not have stayed here if I knew this information before hand. The third and fourth floors are being remodeled as is the lobby. So, during the day if you are working in your room all you hear is workers and hammers banging. They should discount their rooms until the renovations are complete. The renovations go through March. Don't stay here until after the renovations are completed.
