For a VERY old hotel, it's ok if you're on a budget. But, definitely needs a major refresh!! I was fairly clean, but I won't be staying there again. Everything is very minimal. Breakfast was not good either.

The morning breakfast was minimal and choices in the juice machine and as well as the coffee machine may have been the worst I’ve ever been to in a hotel don’t drink the coffee she needs to be cleaned as well.

Convient

It's an older hotel, but kept very clean and things were more than sufficient. Manager and staff were very polite and helpful. We would stay again. The pool and hot tub were both great - that's the deciding point for us for almost every hotel choice because our daughter loves the pool and my husband loves the hot tub. It was easy to get to, easy to navigate, lots of food/convenience options within walking distance.

The stay was average. The bathroom door would get stuck so you would have to jam it shut which makes noise when you open the door back up again. The desk chair was broken. The toilet seat lid was not fully attached so it moved. The breakfast was pathetic. There was next to no options for food, I wasn't told about the $100 deposit they require until I was at the property and my card declined. So visitors be prepared to miss $100 for 5 to 7 business days. Overall just meh.

Easy to get places

Upon check in, the horrible musty smell inside became overwhelming. Our keycard was difficult at best to use to enter the room, often taking several tries. The shower had hair in it from what I must assume was the last guest. The free "breakfast" included stale cereal and not much else, but I guess it is true you get what you pay for. I will definitely look elsewhere the next time I visit Fond du Lac.

The property was clean and smelled clean as well. Some suggestions: 1. Offer other fruits instead of just bananas. 2. Take the cream cheese out the night before so it's not frozen for guests. 3. Add 2 flower pots to the outside entrance for a warmer welcome. 4. Add a few pictures to the hallway(cheap buys from Goodwill) 5.Stock more than 2 towels for 2 guests.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Room was small, and a little musty. Very outdated. Breakfast was average. A small room with 1 queen bed for $144. For what you get, Id say a little pricey. I stayed in nicer places in DC and NY for less.

Nice property, no issues experienced. The staff I interacted with were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was lacking a bit, but I'm not super picky either, would still stay here again.
