The hotel room and corridors suffer from inadequate lighting, creating a too dark and unsettling atmosphere that needs improvement

The air conditioner makes a very loud noise, and the street-facing room is especially noisy. It’s very hard to fall asleep at night.

Right next to Lincoln Center, clean and neat, friendly staff. Good value.

Dirty, and humid inside the room. Poor ventilation, corridor is so dark that scared me

Wir hatten dieses Hotel wegen des Pools gebucht. Leider wurde dieser am Laborday für die restliche Zeit geschlossen. Sehr ärgerlich. Die Empfangslobby war sehr modern, aber unser Zimmer war leider schon in die Jahre gekommen. Die Gardinen gingen nicht richtig. Und man sah Schäden an der Decke. Einen Schrank gab es nicht - nur eine kleine Garderobe, sodass wir 8 Nächte aus den Koffer leben mussten. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank war vorhanden und das Zimmer war zum Glück gut geräumig. Am Empfang gab es immer kostenlos Wasser für die Gäste. Metro- und Busstationen in unmittelbarer Nähe.

I quite like to stay in the hotel. I very much enjoyed their rooftop restaurant and bar.

Close to everything without being in the middle of Times Square

Great location but unfriendly staff checking in, was having an issue with fraud alert on my card and desk attendant very impatient. Ended up with holds in two different cards because he wouldn’t wait . I was also very surprised at how small the room was. Additionally , a child vomited in the pool making it unusable , I did not see any action by staff to clean quickly and the pool was a big reason we chose this hotel

Lovely roof bar, rooms were clean, decor could do with updating in places but well worth the money

The lobby is presented very well and the staff are very helpful and attentive. The rest of the hotel feels very dark and dated, we needed a torch to see our room number. The first room we were placed into felt dark and damp, we had to be moved rooms due to cockroaches. The second room was entirely different and had this been the first room we were checked into, the review would have been entirely different. There were no issues with the second room whatsoever and it was finished to a much higher standard.

We have stayed at The Empire several times since our daughter chose Fordham Lincoln Center for college. We love the location and have never been disappointed!

Would stay here again, great location, no complaints about the room or service.

Reason I gave 4 stars because pool is the size of a Jacuzzi, literally, haha!

Everything was fine. We really enjoyed this hotel. And every one was so nice. Definitely coming back
