A lot of people have this as a 10 there is no way this stands up to a 10 we had a kingsize double room and it was lucky we only had one bag as the rooms are very small and the bathroom even smaller. There is a lake of plug sockets near the bed should you which to charge anything. Its passable but not a 10 iv stayed in a lot better motels

TV remote or Internet connection issues. Bathroom outlet not functional. Surrounding area older but historical and well kept to showcase style of downtown area.

Bad, Hotel staff was nice but hotel has seen its time. Holes in sheets, bathroom door would not open fully hit toilet. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Longe and cafe closed. Elevator door would not stop if it hit something (person) Just not good. Cut stay short and moved to different hotel

Nice vintage hotel/inn, with old style atmosphere. Unfortunately the stay was not very enjoyable because the wi-fi was not working properly and also the TV had only one channel.

Although the property has its historical appeal, the owners obviously have elected not to keep the property and building in order starting first with no restaurant on site. No dinner options other than closed restaurants in the area when you check in at 8pm. The room also had its appeal but there was Roku tv and no ac. Found the iron & board tucked inside a dirty closet with only 2 hangers. It’s obvious the owners and management don’t leave their offices too often.

Traveled for work. I reserved & paid for 3 rooms for me and my team. It has been 15 days since I checked out and the deposit is STILL showing on my credit card statement. This happens when the hold is incorrectly processed on the credit card… this has happened to me before. Hotel is blaming credit card company (not surprised). Trying to resolve this and it’s an annoying inconvenience. Cute hotel, but I will not stay here for future business travels.

It's 100% Eureka. Uniquely, Eureka. Very cool, old hotel. But that area is not for those seeking a quiet stay. It's perfect for events. But the housekeeping missed some details that meant for not wanting to touch things like the shower curtain.

Cute historical art deco English Tudor revival building. The lobby filled with vintage luxury furniture is fabulous. Great wifi access, too.

Very quirky, old feel. But so comfortable and friendly x x Worth staying.Breakfast fresh and good quality.

Pros: Central to many things in town Parking is free Historic hotel Beds are good Cons: No daily room service Stained sheets No AC No fan in bathroom No full length mirror No cable tv, just free Roku w/TV Broken toilet seat Floors haven’t been mopped in ages Don’t expect much from breakfast Went to the front desk and ask for an additional set of towels. The front desk guy had to deliver them. We did not see any cleaning/room service people or carts for 4 days. Expensive for the service, or lack there of, you are receiving.

Pros: the beds were clean and shower was warm. Cons: no one came into the room to refresh the towels or turn down the bed. There wasn’t ac so we slept with the window open, which let in bugs. The “breakfast” was 3 bread products, some coffee and some fruit. Didn’t really have WiFi since it was only available in the lobby.

Very nice front desk and professional service!

It is a beautiful old hotel. The lobby and public sitting area is lovely and breakfast is quite nice and welcoming. Location of hotel is great for visiting redwoods. The only con is the small sleeping rooms that don't have many outlets for chargers, etc and could use updating. However, it's clean and the linens were fresh. It's obvious the staff works very hard...they are doing a good job while the hotel seems to be understaffed.

We enjoyed learning about the history of the Inn and the well decorated rooms and common areas.

Friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast. Walkable for dinner
