Property itself is a great location and hotel is nicely updated. However the walls and ceiling are so thin you can hear everything coming from the floor above and outside the room. Made it very disruptive to sleep or relax in the room. The bed itself had a very weird slant so your head ended up being lower than your feet. Staff was pleasant and hotel itself was nicely kept just the issues with the all the noise and the bed were significant enough to lower the rating

The property location was good. Was able to walk to downtown. The property was cute but the room was small for family of 5 and outdated. Bathroom was small and the lock to yard was broken. The included breakfast was ok for adults but not for kids and also start time was too late (8am). Hot tub required reservation ahead of time so we didn’t even bother. Staff was super friendly and the common area was warm and welcoming so I gave 4 stars overall.

This lodge was just adorable! It was modern, cozy, friendly, really relaxed and simply beautifully furnished. Great style outdoors too. There was fire pit, seating, coffe,tea,apples, games area, hiking, a bar, free breakfast…There was everything you could possibly want (minus a restaurant) but there was one across the street, one next-door, there’s restaurants everywhere in Stowe. It was so convenient to town and my single, king room was just perfect for me, solo traveler looking for a nice quiet, clean, relaxing experience. It was truly stylish and unique. Lovely staff. I loved it!

Sehr beengtes Zimmer, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl. Restaurant und Bar nicht in Betrieb. Für Bodybilder zu empfehlen, die zwecks Training ihre Koffer über diverse Treppen (kein Lift) in ein höheres Stockwerk schleppen möchten. Sehr verwinkeltes Gebäude vollgestopft mit verschiedensten Souvenirs aus der guten alten Zeit des Skifahrens in Stowe. Frühstück: ausgezeichnet. Gute Restaurants in Gehdistanz. Over all: Für 1 Übernachtung im Sommer, ok (in der Wintersaison wohl anders zu bewerten).

Unique style and small but very comfortable room with a view of the valley. Great breakfast included which they clearly made an effort to make something different and tasty. We’d definitely stay here again.

Complimentary breakfast could be better. It would be great if they could provide an EV charging within the facility/ parking

Exceeded our expectations. We had the King Suite, with super cute decor and stand alone bathtub. The lodge was clean, comfy, and felt very safe. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. There was also complimentary grab and go breakfast and coffee, as well as an espresso machine. The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Field Guide Lodge was amazing. Our room was generously spacious, featuring comfortable beds and a cozy sitting area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious! Additionally, there were restaurants within walking distance and shopping options within walking distance. I highly recommend considering this establishment for your stay.

Breakfast was healthy but needed more options. Price reasonable for our large Deluxe king room. Beds comfy.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Field Guide Lodge in Stowe. The room was cozy and spotless, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Aiden and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We truly felt like royalty. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Stowe.

This is my second time staying at field guide and both experiences have been great. Highly recommend for short and long stays.

Second time staying here. Will be back again for a 3rd. Perfect spot.

Breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruits and healthy choices.

The room we had was private and perfect for our anniversary getaway. We had a bottle of champagne in our room when we arrived with a Happy Anniversary card! The breakfasts were delicious and the bar was a fun hangout! We were able to walk everywhere and easily rent bikes across the street. We had a great time and will definitely stay there again!

The hotel was nice. Very uniquely decorated. The beds were comfortable. There was a small continental breakfast which was a nice surprise and some chocolate chip cookies, coffee and tea in our room. We got there late, so the front desk people sent us instruction on how to get inside the lobby to retrieve our keys. The parking lot is pretty dark, so it was hard to figure out where to go. I had to upgrade at the last minute due to my daughter coming with us. I had emailed several times to request a different room, but they never responded. I finally called. I had to pay $130 extra for this room. I felt like this was a little excessive for what we got. We only stayed one night. There were a few things that kinda didn't work. The a/c in the bedroom was kinda loud and blowed really strong. The bedroom door opened into the king size bed which made it a little awkward to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. And there was a decorative tree stump in front of the bathtub which made it kinda weird to get out of the tub. There was no a/c vent in the living room, only the bedroom and the bathroom. If we would have stayed more than 1 night, it would have probable been a big deal. Especially the a/c. But, for 1 night, no biggie. The original room I booked was probably worth the money, but I would not stay here again in the same room.

The staff was amazing! They treated us very well!

Clearly deficient cleanliness. Rooms lacking care and investment. Wooden windows that don't lock, without soundproofing or insulation, dirty carpets that have been well washed from one end, indescribable dirt in the carpets, central shelf structures rusty and almost unusable, damaged window frames, stains on the walls, shower with mold in the corners, rails on the walls, stained blinds that are non-functional and still crease. As a bonus, a difference in height of a good 6 inches from one end to the other of the bed floor, giving a negative slope towards the head. It's not serious in 2025 to offer this to customers with all the choices on the market. I will not return to this hotel. Your chain, Lark Hotels, must be rigorous, inspect its franchises and request the necessary corrections to maintain quality according to standards. Give me a few reasons why I should trust Lark Hotels in the future?

The staff is so helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect and the amenities are great for families.
