Breakfast provided daily, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels and parking included in resort fee. The gentleman front desk attendants very friendly, ladies not as much. Location is perfect! Rooms and grounds very clean and well maintained. Breakfast staff super friendly, especially Marybelll, she made a special effort to make the children happy.

It was right across from the Hotel Del and the beach. A quaint little place that used to be a mansion. Historic and poetic.

The staff was fabulous, the room was perfect, and the location allowed us to walk wherever we needed to go!

Great location. however while main lobby area is an grand old estate, the rooms are largely associated with an old inn/motel type lodging in the back

Convenient for walking to beach or marina area. Safe and clean. Rooms are small. No elevator for people staying on 2nd floor. Loud humming noises from room refrigerator and ac fans in our room as well as the rooms next to us throughout the night.

Felt more like a full size bed than a Queen. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

We spent 3 nights at Glorietta Bay Inn to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. This was new for us, since we've traditionally stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado when coming to town, but unfortunately their post-renovation pricing has just gone out of what is reasonable for us. We stayed for less than half of that, and were right across the street from the Del so getting there was still something we enjoyed every day we were there. The staff at the Glorietta were very friendly, and the only thing we took down a notch from perfection was comfort because the bathroom was a little on the tight side, size-wise - only one sink, and the toilet/shower room resembled those on cruise ships - but that was the only thing that stopped us from giving that one 5 stars too. We will definitely be back.

We love Glorietta Bay and have been going for years but I think it is time for a remodel. The room had a slight smell of possibly moldy something. It is getting a little tired looking and the rooms were patched and painted but the patches didnt match the paint and it just is starting to feel a little Holiday Inn feeling. I think it is time to step up the game!

Needs remodeling

We flew an out-of-town staff member up for our 2026 planning event. We wanted some place that was safe, convenient, a lovely setting to go walking and this fit the bill without breaking the bank. The staff were great and it was just a wonderful experience. We will do this again!

The two ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. We were new to the area and they provided direction to various places to visit. Additionally very customer service centric as they were both accommodating.

Breakfast food is really bad

The rooms need to be updated. The hall and carpet going up the steps to our room was dirty. The staff were all very friendly. The location is fantastic.

Perfect location. Comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. I will stay there again.
