Nice hotel to stay again

Don't use Expedia, when your child comes down with a sickness that is extremely contagious and you don't want to spread it to other hotel guests with children they do not help with the cancellation. Will never use them again.

Excellent. Spacious, extremely clean room/suite (#403). Nice view. Bright lighting. Lots of windows with natural light. Black out shades worked perfectly. My only suggestion: a small fan/exhaust fan would be nice in the bathroom area.

We were there for the Reds games it’s a nice place room wasn’t Ready when we got there it was after 4 before room was ready then they give me a room for one day I booked 2 days so then to find out it was the wrong room so I had to wait then they got my room and we had trouble with elevator you have to use your room card to get elevator to work but it didn’t want to work. Got to the room it was really nice but I booked 2 Queen beds it was only one but I didn’t say anything it was a nice room so check in was not so great but they were very Busy. Overall good stay.

Great location, beautiful river view from hotel room window. TV had cable, HBO, and Netflix. King bed was great and room was plenty big. Had fridge and microwave. Big bathroom and shower. I saw a lot of mixed reviews about breakfast before booking my stay here. We had breakfast Thurs-Sat. Each day had a lot of options- waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, eggs and a sausage type meat. Sat had less fruit and pork ham with scrambled eggs, which is NOT for me. So it may depend on the day. Can't stress enough how great the location is, everything is a short walk. We walk to the Reds stadium. Parking is 10.00 a night, but the lot seemed safe, and we didn't have to pay for parking anywhere else, so worth it. Indoor pool is small but very nice and clean, plenty of chairs and towels. Service is not the best, not a lot of workers around, but they did get us what we needed, when we had an issue. I would stay again.

they could do a little better on the breakfast and i feel that if a person is staying at the hotel then parking should be free. if i'm paying almost $300 a night then parking should be free.

Great location to walk around and city is on rebirth trajectory. Sake Bomb, great sushi for a smaller town area.

I really don’t know why this hotel has so many positive reviews.Its greater advantage is the location - in a walking distance to Aquarium - and the hotel seems to be new. But that’s all. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers; there is no safe box in the rooms, very poor breakfast, no daily cleaning, no room service, and has a paid self parking lot with no security. And although the check in was very nice - Tanysha, the front desk person of the night shift, is a really attentive e friendly person- the front desk person during the day, Heather, is extremely rude and moody. She refused us a paid late check out until 4 pm, even though the hotel wasn’t full and there were plenty rooms available. We explained that our flight was at 9pm and we were with kids, but she said that we should paid a fully extra night for it. We certainly wouldn't stay there again.

So clean and convenient.. loved the view of the city.. we did have to pay for parking, which was not previously disclosed.. overall… a great stay!!

Very clean, easy walk to Great American Ball Park.

Hotel is prima, avondploeg was vriendelijk, maar de ochtend ploeg keek chagrijnig en wilde mij niet graag te woord staan bij vragen over ontbijt of uitchecken.. ontbijtruimte en faciliteiten zijn niet voldoende voor de capaciteit van het hotel. 1 wafelijzer en 1 toaster zorgt voor rijen van een kwartier. Er wordt ook niet tijdig aangevuld, toen ik hierom vroeg werd ik nijdig aangekeken. Kamer was zeer ruim en schoon, prachtig uitzicht op het ballpark was fantastisch. Bedden waren wel wat doorgelegen.

I stayed 4 nights and not 1 time did I have room service. Had to go to desk to get towels 2 different times, yet they told me my room would be service when it wasn’t I ask again. And said oh sorry. We will do it. Yet they never did. Also my granddaughter left her EarPods in room 425. In a flower case. There is no phone number to contact the hotel directly to ask them to mail to me. I was not happy at all. Check in was great. Time staying and check out staff was rude and didn’t care. I’ve stayed at the doubletree in Orlando a few times no issues, figured I’d stay will Hilton hotels when I came to Kentucky. Sadly it was disappointing Sherry jenney It would be great to get those EarPods back

We usually stay at Hampton Inn's, for the comfort, cleanliness, and honestly, the breakfast. This was in a good location as we were targeting Newport for most of our activities to Cincinnati this time. Great location, loved that we did not have to pay for parking as many of the other hotels did. City view room was nice. We left the curtains open in our room so we could see all the time. I was not pleased that there was no decaf coffee offered. They said they had pods at the front desk for the room, but that didn't help me, or others, in the lobby, or breakfast areas. My husband was not pleased with the wait for the one, only one, waffle maker. We were there at different times of the morning, so it didn't really matter when you showed up. It was a good 10-15 minute wait for a waffle. Perhaps adding another would be more efficient. Other than that, the staff were friendly, checkin/checkout were easy peasy. Easy walk to the Aquarium/AMC movie theater/Newport on the Levee. The Southbank shuttle bus can get you to the far end if needed.

Close to what we came to the city for nice rooms only thing that had issue with was the back gate lock didn’t work correctly

For ease to surrounding locations you cannot beat this place A short walk, and I do mean short, to Newport on the levee
