Easy check in and quiet room.

The property looks new and clean. But the staff were unprofessional and lazy. Check in required 15 minutes. When we came to eat breakfast around 8 am all the hot containers were empty. When we were trying to get help we found all staff members sitting on their phones in staff’s room.

When we arrived there was a guest waiting as the front desk clerk was talking. talking

The rooms were very noisy both above and below us. The food and breakfast was not well stocked and ran out at the later hours.

Very nice hotel with a hot tub & pool that the kids loved. My only complaint was that the TV was not hooked up to the internet (the front desk did state work would be completed mid-April, so hopefully this is fixed by the next time we stay). FYI for EV owners, there is a Ford dealership with fast & level 2 chargers next door.

Great stay overall. We will be back to enjoy it again.

Great choice for a hotel in Salida!

Nothing special.

Very clean. I should have brought my own pillow, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Everybody has their own preferences when it comes to pillows. Coffee in the lobby was good, but they let it run empty a couple of mornings and I had to let the front desk clerk know. Nice heated pool area for the kids.

WHEN WE CAME TO STAY THE FRONT DESK GUY TREATED US AS IF WE WERE BOTHERIG HIM. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE LOBBY BUT US, HE WAS ON HIS PHONE OR COMPUTER (NOT SURE). DURING OUR STAY WE ASKED IF HE COULD RECOMMEND OR GIVE US A NAME OF A PLACE TO EAT. HE SAID NO (NO EXPLENATION JUST NO)!!! WE WERE THERE FOR 3 NIGHTS AND DID NOT NEED OUR ROOM CLEANED. HOWEVER,WE DID ASK FOR A EXTRA BAG FOR OUR TRASH. WE HAD ALREADY THREW THE FULL ONE AWAY. HE JUST GAVE A AGGRAVATED SIGH AND HANDED US A BAG SO TINY (I THINK IT WAS FOR THE ICE BUCKET). INSTEAD OF BOTHERING HIM AGAIN WE BOUGHT OUR OWN BAG. WE DID NOT WANT TO BOTHER HIM AGAIN. HOWEVER, DURING THE NIGHT ABOUT 10:-00-11:00 I WENT DOWN TO ASK TO BUY A SODA. HE STATED THEY WERE $5.00 FOR A CAN. I TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND $5.00 ON A 20 OZ.CAN (HE THEN ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME).I THANKED HIM AND TOLD HIM I WOULD GO ACROSS THE STREET. WE COME TO SALIDA ABOUT 3-4 TIMES A YEAR FOR 3-7 DAY AS A TIME. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT SERVICE. WE USUALLY STAY AT A DIFFERENT HOTEL THERE. THIS TIME WE THOUGHT WE WOULD TRY A NW PLACE.WE WON'T BE STAYING AT HYMPTON INN AGAIN THO.

The property was fine, parking was good, and staff was friendly but I could hear kids thundering around in the room above us and screaming up and down the hall the entire stay because the rooms were not very insulated against the noise.

When putting the kiddos to bed we discovered dirty laundry from the previous guests in the bed. Very dissatisfied and disappointing. Front desk said they couldn’t do anything on the weekend because management was not available.

The property is well kept and beautiful, the staff is amazing

The place is worn and they can’t keep help. Room had no soap in the shower. Very expensive place for what you get. They do not clean the room even if you stay for days. Have to ask for towels while the dirty ones pile up.

We love staying at the Hampton Inn in Salida, CO.
