Hampton Inn and Suites Alexandria MN

Friendly and helpful staff!

The night staff (older man) was super nice, but there was a toenail on the carpet of my room that was not mine. Also, the breakfast was a little sad, as there was no fresh fruit (not even bananas or apples) or yogurt. The remaining selection was just sad.

Another great Hampton Inn stay. Check in was fast. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and cozy. Nice comfortable beds. Quiet location. Delicious breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and much more.

One night stay while on a motorcycle trip. Quiet space and nice that they allowed us to park our bikes under front covered area.

This is a clean hotel. It's exactly what I expected with Hampton. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well stocked. A great place for an overnight stay.

The staff was great. And the breakfast was awesome. The walls we could hear through ,and in the room above us, a little kid was running back and forth all night long. You can hear through the doors and everyone walking in the room above. We came there for sleep and we almost left to go to another place.

Room was spacious and tidy. Although there were a lot hotel guests, we never heard any of them. Pool area very clean and well maintained.

Everything was excellent except the comfort of the beds.

Absolutely awesome!

We were put in a room with a window that had a rooftop and brick wall 4 feet away. Could see nothing but the sky…a bit. Also the laundry room was below us and thumping all evening. They said it would be done at 9:00 pm but finally called them again at 10:50 because it was still going strong. Not restful at all! I’m not sure if we were given this awful room because we went through a 3rd party. Very disappointing because we usually love Hampton Inn.

Nice hotel, easy checkin. Nice staff

Before I made a reservation for two rooms, I called the hotel to ask if they had connecting rooms, and if we can reserve them. I was told yes to both questions. The man on the phone just said to make the reservation on expedia and then call back and he would make the rooms connecting. I did as he instructed and everything was set for our stay. Fast forward several weeks and we arrive for our stay. Our rooms are not connected, and the front desk lady have me some serious attitude for asking what happened.

The stay was good. 3rd year in a row for Clay Target League. The only complaint I have is that the toilets are soooo low. Are they made for toddlers?
