Hampton Inn Memphis/Southaven

We spent 3 night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Have a great checking in room room was clean comfortable and quiet. First day. Breakfast was great. Second day wasn’t so great lady. They checked me out. I asked for a receipt. She snapped and said that she’ll email it to you. I don’t know if that’s policy for this hotel chain.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and open until 11:00 on Sunday. Pool was a little funky. Needed to be cleaned but not gross

The air conditioner was broken. The lady at the desk told me “sorry but we have nothing to swap you to and can’t refund you” But online showed multiple rooms available matching

We stayed 2 times as a halfway point in our vacation. The staff was very friendly however the accommodations were sub-par. The beds were terrible. Sounded like they would break if you moved and the mattresses were so uncomfortable. The first night my ac was leaking water all over the floor. And our second stay the water was turned off to our toilet which maintenence came and turned it back on....and after I discovered the reason was because the flapper was disconnected in the tank and fixed it each time we used the toilet.

The woman working the reception was wonderful. The lobby, elevator and hallways are dirty and shabby. The room was better - mostly clean but not what I expected for a hotel that was supposedly just renovated - must have been a very low budget reno. However, the room was inexpensive so … Was

The pool was dirty and smelled. They are starting some renovations so hopefully this will help. The location is very convenient. Breakfast very good with nice selection. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Dirty tub. Pool unclean. No clothing storage in room. All employees were great. Breakfast guy, front desk, maintenance. All great friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Unlike any Hampton we've ever stayed at. The entire hotel looked like it hadn't been updated in 20 years. Just everything worn out and drab, but then add to that all the dirty floors, filthy elevator... Not at all to typical Hampton standards.

We were very dissatisfied with our stay. First room that was assigned to us, the bed was partially made and slept in. We complained and were assigned another room which the tub was dirty, soap dispenser in shower was broken off and empty, floor not properly vacuumed, bed was awfully uncomfortable and pillows awful. Bathroom door barely closed because countertop was in the way. When we told staff about these issues, all they could say was sorry and not offer anything further like they will report to management or offer a discount ect. Very disappointing and i would not promote this property.

Very loud, paper thin walls Blood on counter upon check in Bathroom was dirty such as toilet had visible waste on the side walls AC didn’t work well would only get to 71 Only good thing was bed was comfortable

It is close to a lot!

Staff can improve customer service. When we checked in, they never told us about the breakfast hours, when the gym was available of where the gym is. The check-in process seemed very mechanical.

Night Manager was creepy, tried to keep my boyfriend locked out of the lobby and tried to charge me twice for the room. Hotel was ok but DO NOT check in at night if youre a young woman!!

The hotel called right after I booked through hotels.com and said they were sold out so I didn’t stay here. I still haven’t seen a refund applied to my credit card

This property is currently under going a much needed renovation, and did not meet the Hampton Inn standards I've come to expect. Also, this hotel is located beside the interstate and in very close proximity to the airport....so it can be noisy. However, the staff was great! Everyone was friendly and helpful.
