I stay in a lot of budget hotels, but this one made me nervous because of the population staying there. It was clean, and there was plenty of hot water With a nice refrigerator, and microwave. The breakfast in the morning was toast and cereal. I’m not terribly picky, but a lot of the customers who stay here are unkempt, and noisy. I had to call management because of a customer, creating a disturbance outside of my doorway, and The managers were extremely responsive, and the customer service was excellent.

Check in was quick, once someone came to the desk. But right from there on things got worse all through to checking out the next morning. The room assigned to us had only hot air blowing from the A/C. Called the desk, he knew it wasn't working and I asked to be moved and questioned why they would put us in there knowing that it wasn't working as there were plenty of available rooms, no answer. The freezer of the mini fridge was so iced up, that when we opened the door, the cover to the freezer compartment fell off. Then we moved rooms. Both rooms the furniture was well worn, but I will say the bed was comfortable and we requested an additional towel and pillow and we picked that up at the front desk. Other things to point out was the bathroom ceiling was water stained and the comfy chair, under the cushion had a piece of chocolate and wrappings that had not been cleaned. Breakfast was advertised to be included and part of the price paid for the night. Upon check in we were told breakfast was from 6am to 9am. We got to breakfast around 7:30am and there literally was no bread, buns or muffins of any sort. The container was empty only butter and cream cheese to put on nothing. I was so outraged that I went to the front desk to ask where breakfast was. I had to ring at the front desk only to have woken up the attendant. His reply was the person who was responsible for bringing the breakfast items hadn't done so. I requested $20 refund, so we could purchase breakfast elsewhere.

I was not impressed! Property was dingy, poorly maintained, poorly lit, Hot breakfast was not existent unless you include toast!

The initial room we were given smelled strongly of marijuana. We were moved to a new room which was better, but a little musty. The desk clerk was helpful but difficult to understand. The breakfast was absolutely terrible, coffee was burnt and there were no options for protein or anything reasonable to eat.

So this was the last stay of our 8 day trip through the US. The hotel was $33 USD and the reviews I read were not terrible. MY OWN FAULT HERE... The property is sketchy as F***. there were people milling about all night outside. The inside was old and dirty. The staff was inside his suite and took forever to come out and didn't come out the second time. The room wasn't clean. We both felt icky after laying in the bed. One pillow was thrown onto the floor as it was crusty and dirty. 1/4 a roll of TP left in the bathroom. If you don't care about safety or cleanliness then this is the place for you! We (I) slept for about three hours then left at 2am, just couldn't take it. came out of the room and there was garbage now all over the hallway. Don't be like me and spend some more money to go somewhere else.

Clean & Comfortable inside the room. Hotel seems to be in various stages of renovation. Check in was easy, even though I was questioned about the need for my service dog (not sure that was legal, as I was asked specifically to detail why I needed a service dog). Anyhow, I was willing to pay the up-charge for pets, but I suggest the manager educate the staff on Service Dogs and appropriate questions to ask at checkin. I would stay there again.

Nice room with a good price point.

We had requested a pet friendly room when I reserved. Was given a room on the second floor with carpet. Ugh. Was charged $30 extra for it even though pet fee on the website is listed at $20. Back access door was unlocked so anyone could enter without a key.

This was a fantastic surprise….. so comfortable and so clean!! If we are in Helena again we will definitely be staying here again

I would only go there if you are in helena for work

Pretty sure all the staff lives there when i arrived my toilet would not flush, their answer come and get a plunger. They didnt not have an onsite maintenance man or try to move. Nasty place only good thing is the price . Im just there for construction. Also pretty sure some residents are selling drugs or something

The price was nice and low, and the rooms are all set back from the hall in sets of 3 (which made it really quiet). There is a continental breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit and juice. My room had: 1 bed, fridge, microwave, iron and board, blow dryer, a single cup coffee maker, plus many little pkg items for use. There is an elevator. But...The street may be hard to find without the GPS. The man who came to the desk seemed tired, and didn't smile, greet me, or want to chat. I gave my name and he looked it up, then he asked me if I had paid yet... I couldn't remember. While i was trying look it up on my end, the manager came and explained to the man how to determine if I had paid already, then he left. (Yes) The man gave me my room key card & I looked where it was on the map. I asked about driving to a back door, to be closer to my room. He said to walk down the hall to the back end, then left. We drove to the back; my friend dropped me off by that door, since i walk with a limp and didn't want to walk further than necessary. That outside door was taped so it would not lock, which bothered me. I had forgotten to ask if there was an elevator, but I was able to slowly walk up the stairs totthe 2nd floor. I found the elevator in the morning. I was happy with the room, except the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. I mentioned that in the morning to the manager, and he said you had to push harder on it. There was still no smile or other greeting/conversation.

It was great value. Everything was clean which is most important to me. Staff were friendly

Very run down property. They are doing some renovations but broken front door whose windows aren’t cleaned and heaters stacked in lobby blocking a fire door for the elevator. Worst breakfast that had a loaf of white bread only. Dark hallways Room was better

The walls are pretty thin, it’s an older building for sure but they did a decent job renovating it. For the price it’s hard to beat
