This place isn't the Ritz Carlton, but it's a great place to stay if you're on a budget. It's only three blocks away from Waikiki, and is around great bars and eateries. The money that you save on the stay you can spend it on getting to know O'ahu, and believe me that exploring O'ahu is worth it. The staff is also very nice, on my next trip I'll be staying here again.
Holiday Surf was a great experience. Although somewhat retro and a little worn, their studios have an equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stove and appliances; a double or king size bed; a spacious closet with ironing; t.v, phone, radio; table and chairs, armchairs, nightstand and dresser; and showertub restroom. The balcony had a nice view of the Ala Wai Lagoon Golfcouse, the Mountain Suburbs of Honolulu, part of Diamond Head crater and the Ko'olau Mountains skyline. Internet, parking, hotel services, etc. were also available. Would recommend this place to anyone with time to enjoy Oahu Island.
