Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown

The curtains in the room could not be drawn up. The lights outside were on at night, and the next day dawned very early. For people with sleep disorders, it was impossible to sleep! We informed the front desk manager that night, and he said someone would come to fix it. But he didn't come until midnight. We went downstairs again in the early morning to ask, and the front desk lied that the repairman had come, but now he was off work and couldn't fix it. We didn't sleep all night! The front desk was very indifferent, and didn't try to solve the problem. He just said "sorry" coldly.

While our stay was brief, we had a great experience checking in with staff, the room was spacious and very clean, and the hotel was close to dining options as well as areas of interest.

This is a very nice hotel well within walking distance of shopping, dining and points of interest in the downtown area.

Good option for Salt Lake City. Modern hotel and close to restaurants and things to do.

I came toSLC to be near my mom in the hospital. This Hyatt House was amazing from my first day to the last. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and offered many choices. I will stay here again my next trip to Salt Lake.

All staff made me feel at home. The breakfast was fantastic. Room clean and comfy bed. I hope to return.

I didn't catch it at the time of my reservation, but I think it's an extended stay type place. Regardless it was wonderful. Staff was awesome - room was spotless - safe and great night's stay! What I would say - fair warn: 1) parking. If you park in the garage -IGNORE the signage that screams 'PAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE'. Not sure how it works but go to the front desk - they'll help you through it. I obeyed the garage signage and paid $38 instead of the hotel rate of $24. 2) The bar and restaurant are limited service. Nothing wrong with that but just be aware, you're not going to get a sit down, linen napkin, steak knife meal. Again, ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong, just letting you know I would 100% stay here again.

The hotel rooms are spacious, airy and well air conditioned. Everything was clean and tidy. Service was friendly though the bar and eating area were soulless and usually deserted, so I didn’t hang around them. Breakfast was included… with a little effort it could have been good, but it was at best only serviceable… limited and a rather dull. All in all, though, this was a handy and good value location.

Great property for what we needed. Would stay again if ever in the area and in need.

We had a lovely stay at Hyatt House downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The staff was lovely and the facility very clean and pretty.

Forced to pay for parking each night even though you already paid to stay there is a scam. Shower water pools and doesnt drain, hottub didnt work

Staff saved my ass! Couldn’t have gotten to Wise Guys comedy on time with out her help 😊!
