The lobby and Starbucks is nice places to stay. The room was a bit old and the floor was slitely sticky. The price seemed to be a little high for the quality of the room.

Really friendly staff and service

Everything and everyone was absolutely perfect! Me and my son felt so welcomed and had a good time. Staff is amazing here. Very polite, helpful, and accommodating.

If this were a basic roadside motel, it wouldn’t be so bad—but charging extra for a breakfast buffet and parking is pretty absurd. You’re honestly better off staying at a motel just outside Buffalo and driving in. The room itself was very basic. The TV runs on live dish, so if you flip through channels too quickly or try to stream something, it crashes. In 2025, it’s frustrating not to have smart TVs with built-in apps like Netflix, Hulu, or HBO Max. The bathroom was a major letdown—tiny, no ventilation, poor drainage, and every shower turned the entire space into a splash zone. It felt more like a waterpark than a bathroom. The ceiling also had what looked like water damage, likely from the unit above. The gym is advertised as being open 24/7, but it’s not. That should be updated online to reflect the actual hours. As for the staff—they were decent and clearly working hard, but it’s obvious they’re stretched thin and burned out. It felt like a skeleton crew trying their best under tough conditions. In short: save yourself the headache. There are better options in the area

Very old property, breakfast for a price, for $200 a nught i was expecting the breakfast ot be included, no water, to connect the coffee machine i need to plug into the bathroom power plug, its weird, room is spacious, nice bed

Great hotel. Convenient to our needs.

Chophouse just down the street, They need to work on their valet parking. A lot of confusion and cars parked everywhere and not moving. Got locked in and 1 attendant on phone outside and no others to be seen. Sat night there were more attendants I guess hotel got the message from other people….still hectic.

We had a mixed experience at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. The lobby area is attractive and welcoming, and having a Starbucks in the atrium was definitely convenient. The location is great—very walkable, with easy access to downtown and some great spots like Big Ditch Brewery nearby. However, the rooms felt dated and in need of better upkeep. The windows were quite dirty and covered in spiders, which was off-putting. Our first room even had spiders inside the window area, though the staff did move us to another room when we raised the issue. Unfortunately, even in the second room, there were still many spiders outside the windows. The pool area also could use more attention—it looked like it needed a good cleaning. Overall, this hotel has potential with its central location and nice public spaces, but the rooms and facilities could use more care.

We booked a room for two nights for our wedding the staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable as well. The parking was inconvenient. valet parking was $30 a night unless you wanted to take your chances on the street downtown. Doable but not preferred.

Great stay, needs more shopping options

The hotel lobby is amazing, bright and friendly. Starbucks is in the hotel as well. That's where it kind of ends. Iced machine was broken on our floor. The Hotel room was full of mold in the bathroom, Peeling wallpaper and blood on the wall near the toilet paper holder. The Remote had disgusting white stuff on it that had to be cleaned off. The Fitness room was ok. I don't know if it is other people or cleanliness but so much dirt on the treadmill and not cleaned off. Didn't use the pool so cannot comment on that Can use Valet but parking across the street was half the price! For a $250 stay was kind of disappointed.

Many improvements have been made to this property since my last stay. The front desk personnel were friendly and welcoming and the housekeeping staff and services have been elevated a few notches! The housekeeping staff was also incredibly friendly and supportive with also meeting guest requests!

This particular Hyatt needs an update in their rooms. Air conditioning vents need to be cleaned better
