La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cocoa Beach Oceanfront

We arrived earlier than expected but they still checked us in. The staff were helpful and overall very friendly. Our only complaint was how loud the air conditioning unit is. The pool was never over crowded, they keep a schedule of the rocket launches, breakfast goes until 10 instead of 9 and the beach is only steps away! Quite a few restaurants and shops are within walking distance and the pier is a must see too.

We came up from south Florida for a couple of days. Hotel location was perfect to see a launch and centrally located. Room clean, breakfast nice variety, staff very nice. First night we were on second floor but asked if we could move higher. They moved us right up to fifth floor and it was the perfect view of ocean and pier. Dog friendly for our pup too! Only suggestion but definitely not a complaint, clean the fenced in dog area up a little. We’ll be back and recommend to our friends.

Great beachfront room with beautiful view on the balcony. Breakfast was adequate with lots of choices from fruit, cereals, waffles, eggs sausage and biscuits and gravy, yogurt etc. staff was very friendly and the breakfast staff was so accommodating. Next to the pier where you can walk to many restaurants and beach bars. Pool was small but very clean with a pool bar. We had a firm king size comfortable bed, small refrigerator, microwave and Kurig type coffee maker. Bathroom was small but adequate and clean. It was very a very relaxing get away!

Reservation said pool and ocean view. NO ocean view. But only pool view. So, beware. You might want to call first to make sure you are getting ocean view. But we were only overnight, so didn't matter. Just annoying. Otherwise nice other than beach boardwalk has a dump next to it, which is ugly and strange for a beach hotel. Old building materials and junk just dumped there.

Adjacent property was all garbage ,well to see from our balcony. The tiny bar was overpriced. Not enough lounge chairs at the dirty pool.

Great location and great breakfast. Staff was very nice and accommodating. It’s an older hotel but they maintain it well. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Upon check in there was an issue over the room type. I called ahead asking for clarity on the type of room i need to choose to get a full ocean view in which i chose. When I checked in i was told I'm getting a partial view. When i got into the room a noticed a stuffy type of feeling but ignored it to rush out to the beach. After returning late from the beach my nose immediately became stuffy. After showering, when getting into bed i felt like my feet were dirty and sure enough they were. I just showered and walked straight to the bed how would my feet get that dirty. In the meantime, i was sneezing, had a stuffy nose, and felt very congested. When i finally laid back in bed and looked up, there was black mold on the ceiling. That explains why my allergic symptoms in which i notified the hotel in advance that i had severe allergies. I called the front desk and they said they were full. I would not stay here again.

It was a very nice hotel, good breakfast and oceanview balcony rooms were amazing! I loved the open balconies. There was a nice breeze that was always blowing through there. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Although the beach area was nice, the room and the common areas were run-down and not inviting. Our room was exceptionally bare bones... there was mold in the seams of the bathroom sink and shower; the sink barely drained. The balcony (which we paid extra for) was so narrow you were almost sitting in front of the ac exhaust, and the furniture on said balcony was hot, uncomfortable, straight backed right against the wall. And we've never had a worse experience with a TV cable setup in that there was no way to find a station or to even easily scroll through a guide. We had to call the desk to get a reference guide, which wasn't even useable. The beach was nice, but the hotel description says "Take advantage of the beach loungers, beach umbrellas, and beach towels at the white sand beach." It fails to mention that those are NOT part of the hotel and in fact costs $30/day IF they are even available. And when we were there, they start collecting them at 4P which is some of the best time on the beach. No water was provided in the room, and no instructions that water was available in the laundry room on the ground floor. The staff was friendly but rather indifferent. We expected a lot more from a Wyndham property, and going forward, we will no longer choose their properties.

Very clean, quiet room and friendly staff. Walkable distance to dining and shopping and right on the beach.

Had a family trip to Cocoa Beach with my mother who is in a wheelchair. It was easy to get around and the roll in ahower was just big enough.

Absolutely awesome stay! Great staff! Nice pool! Breakfast on the deck by the waterfall! The pier is right there! Loves it ! Highly recommend!
