When I made my reservation I was assigned a room number. I got to the hotel around 10am just to let them know that I was checking in late, around 7pm. The person at the counter toll me that there was no problem, they would have my room ready. When I when back and check in they gave me a different room. The room bathroom and bed were clean but the carpet was cover with dirty spots everywhere, seems like they gave me the dogs room or someone with an illness was living there. Do not know the reason why they gave me that room.

Ok basic room for the low price. AC was not on when we arrived so it was over 100 degrees at 8:00 and it was a small AC unit so it was miserable for first few hrs and hard to fall asleep for the family. Bed was comfortable after AC kicked in and bathroom was clean. Rooms need updating but cool retro motel! Safe place and appreciate they allow dogs.

The cost is minimal, but in the heat the air conditioner will not reach the bedroom area and no ceiling fan ! Horrible.

While the service and the exterior of the property was very nice, the room condition was terrible. The carpet was filthy the bath tub finish was very terrible as well as the sink area. While clean…this room 246 is in terrible repair. Towels and linens were clean.

The room had a very foul smell like urine. The restroom was smelled like armpits and cigarette and mildew. There were mosquitos in the room as well. Took a long time to get the ac going yo cool off the room

I found lipstick on the pillow covers, and I’m not sure if it was a flea or a bug on the sheets the plumbing not so good for a shower

Dirtiest carpet I have ever seen

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lamp liter inn. It takes me back to a time when staying at a fine hotel was an experience you had with an outdoor courtyard and pool view. Totally 60s vibe. Our room was spacious and super clean and we had a great night sleep. The mattress felt new and the bedding was crisp clean and white. Same with the bath towels. I will definitely stay there again.

Haven’t been here in several years but the remodeling is beautiful, clean like always and great service

Very old and not clean

Very disappointed, floor was dirty, unfinished painting on walls, toilet dirty and lid off behind tank. I did take pictures!

I chose this hotel because of the price point and the fact that it implied it had been newly renovated. Turns out only a portion of the hotel was renovated; the rest was "under renovation". The room I had was dirty, the television didn't work and it was in a smoking area; which as a non-smoker was uncomfortable.
