beautiful. quiet. friendly.

It’s very good felt like home. The staff very kind nice and helpful, the room is clean beautiful and fantastic. I definitely recommend someone if interested in history coming in to this hotel, you’ll never regret for your choose. Also I definitely will come again

Many of the staff were great! Enjoyed our breakfast there and our bartender that night, also from California! The room was a a Jr ste and was beautiful, bed comfy, bathroom nice! They only add would be phone charger near bed and replacing the stained rug. Would come again!

It was located in the heart of the city. I liked the atmosphere inside the hotel. Very professional and service was impeccable. Parking was tough but the valet service took care of that issue.

Our room, althiugh small, was very quiet, dark, and at a comfortable temperature. No loud air conditioner blasting or hallway noise. Great for sleeping in a busy City.

Helpful staff and very clean room. Well equiped for a quick business trip. There was a small fridge and robes and slippers were provided for use during the stay.

This was an amazing find! It was walkable to Union Station and Metro yellow and green lines. It was a blend of historic touches with new remodel. We would stay there again.

Great property! Room was on the small side but bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only negative I have was that there was only 2 towels in room plus your hand towels and wash cloths. They need to add more towels since they don’t have housekeeping every day.

I enjoyed the beautiful lobby and courtyard. The staff are all outstanding!

Staff was very helpful and cheery. Only thing we wished we had was an ice machine on the floor. We had to go downstairs and ask the front desk every time we needed ice. They were very nice though. Good neighborhood. Close to 2 Metro Stations. You could walk to everything major if you needed to though.

Nice charming venue.

I chose hotel to attend The National Book Festival and it’s my third stay. Never disappoints, great value and service is on point.

Great hotel in a great location

Great location, but there were big cobwebs on the ceiling of my room. They did have someone clean the room which was great but there were still cob webs even after it was cleaned. Wouldn’t stay here again.

There are many great things about this inn. It’s not over crowded with people. It’s cozy, quiet and very beautiful. Wonderful staff to boot. The courtyard is a good break away from the hustle and bustle. While I never dine at the restaurant, I did order a couple of desserts to take back to my room. They were quite the treat. They do provide you with a bottle of water for your room daily. If you want ice just ask the front desk and an ice bucket will be delivered to your room. The staff did everything they could to ensure our accommodations were well met. And that is where my positive review ends. This is me being picky here. The beds are super firm with very little give. I might as well have slept on the floor. Pillows given by the desk to help ease some of the pain I was enduring only helped so much. Not knowing the lay out of the hotel. I had a hard time location my room due to lack of any postings of where rooms were located other than looking at how the numbers of the room increased/decreased. One single elevator for most of the hotel, although I saw a rear one by the restaurant with no idea where it goes to. Did encounter an issue with one of my lamps but after maintenance blamed me for having devices plugged into the plugs, which I understand is an actual issue, turns out that the light switch on the wall was flipped off. The morning free coffee bar is limited but manageable as long as it was stocked in an appropriate manner.

Friendly staff; clean room; optimal location. I highly recommend this hotel. I had a great experience with no issues. I wish their parking was less expensive. I parked off site. That would be my only negative comment.
