Feels very general

close to old town park and transportation center, very friendly and helpful staffs

Very nice and cozy. The front desk help us checking in is America sweetheart. The other 2 guys are also very friendly. Very convenient to go to Seaworld or Target. The carpet and sofa is a bit dark color which we don't like but in general the environment is great.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room stayed open after hours for guests to get water, coffee, snacks, fruits. Room was clean and quiet although the AC/heater was a bit noisy. Joshua at the front desk even allowed us to check in at 9:30am even though the check in time was at 3pm. How satisfying to have such experience in a vacation!

The TV service with DirecTV was deplorable, and the location, near the railway line, was very noisy. Nowhere near the high rating given by Hotels.com. Way overpriced.

This inn isn’t going to win any Michelin stars or interior design awards, but it has all the necessities and is very comfortable. They did the smart thing by investing in gear mattresses and bedding! Breakfast is as one expects in these situations, but it’s decent coffee and enough healthy options to get by. Nice pool and the lobby is unexpectedly cozy and welcoming and the staff were all gracious and helpful. Old Town is just across the tracks from here, but not a particularly easy walk. All things considered, this will be our go to when heading to SD for a quick weekend.

Excellent base for traveling.. had our own car and areas we wished to visit were close and convenient. Free continental breakfast was great to start our day.

Comfortable Great breakfast

Friendly staff, breakfast included, and a nice pool area. Great location, close to Mission Beach, the boardwalk, and lots of restaurants, about a 10–15 min drive. Overall, a comfortable spot for a quick getaway.

Everything was excellent

The hotel is definitely dated. The continental breakfast has virtually nothing that is fresh. Inside the rooms, guests are not provided with some basic amenities like slippers. All that being said, my compliments to the staff who were all very helpful.

Arrived @ 5:00 PM. Young lady at desk was not friendly and appeared as if we were disturbing her time. Will not return.

Cute hotel. It is kept up and maintained. The location is excellent. It is in the middle of Old Town and literally across the street from the train station. We took the trolley into Petco Park and it was super convenient. They provide a continental breakfast which provided the typical items. Our only complaint was that the pillows had a funky odor. I couldn't tell if the odor came from the pillow cases or from the actual pillows. Whichever it was, that was gross.
